Set in a quiet, residential area between Fuengirola and La Cala de Mijas, this apartment is a great base to explore the Costa del Sol. A car is recommended to fully enjoy the region, but a bus stop just 2 minutes away connects you to nearby towns and the coast. Málaga Airport is just a 30-minute drive.

Some guests have noted that La Cala Hills is a peaceful area—perfect for unwinding away from the hustle and bustle—yet close enough to enjoy beaches, golf courses, and day trips along the coast. There are also cafés and restaurants just around the corner, and a riverside walking path nearby that’s ideal for jogging or relaxing strolls.

As in many Mediterranean communities, occasional seasonal factors may affect the pool schedule. It is typically open from spring through October.

While a car gives you more freedom, the location is walkable to several essentials, and local public transport offers connections if you prefer to explore without driving.

Whether you’re planning a golf getaway, a peaceful retreat, or a fun-filled family holiday, this lovely La Cala Hills apartment makes a comfortable and well-located home base.



Guest Access:

You have the full apartment to use during your stay. You are also able to make use of the private parking space in the garage. You have access to the communal gardens and pool areas.



The Neighborhood:

La Cala Hills is located half way between the popular towns of Fuengirola and la Cala de Mijas. Both towns are just 10 minutes drive away. There is a bus route located just 2 minutes walk from the apartment. There are a few cafes and restaurants, plus small shops within walking distance as well. We do recommend having a hire car when staying here though however, to make the most of the area.

There is however a bus route and stop just 2 minutes walk from the apartment.



The airport is just 30 minutes drive away. There is a cheap, efficient and comfortable electric train line running between Málaga city centre and Fuengirola, which can be reached on the bus or a 10 minute drive away. This can be a great way to explore the coast without worrying about parking in the large coastal towns.
