Beautiful home, beautiful location

Beautiful home, great location right on your very own private beach. We had the most amazing views of the sunset every night during our stay. Best part of our stay was the host Fred who was extremely helpful with us as went above and beyond the call of duty. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing home directly on the beach. Would love to come back again with more people and book the smaller guest house and suite too! Met Tyler on the beach who lives in the house just behind. He did a personal chef meal for us one night. Fabulous, great value and service. Highly recommend.

Beach house

Great place. Quite and relaxing. House is very clean and comfortable with great beachfront. Just the sound of the ocean here. Private beach walkable to Los Cerritos beach. Fred is a great host. Very much enjoyed my stay.

Had a wonderful time here. Just a short walk up the beach to Los Cerritos, beautiful private palapa, great value for a family vacation. We will miss Griz and Lucy!

Fabulous location fronting onto great surf beach, with boogie boards and beach games to keep you entertained, and lots of seating and shade options. Large, comfortable rooms with lots of space to spread out, and large kitchen for meal prep. A fabulous getaway spot!

Beautiful beach experience

Great location on beautiful Los Cerritos beach near Todos Santos. Perfect layout for 2 couples or a family. Our hosts were very responsive to our needs. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience. Thank you Fred and Lucienne.

Unbeatable location

Had a fantastic, relaxing trip. We loved the location and the way that the living room/kitchen opened onto the beach front. Great options for eating outdoors, lounging on the beach, surfing/boogie boarding, watching whales, and all. Can't wait to spend more time here in the future!

Fun safe place

Great location, about a mile from Cerritos Beach, 5 minute drive. Nice and quiet in the neighborhood. Fred gave a good run down of where to get groceries and how the local neighborhoods work. Perfect for Mexico and totally met my expectations. Griz and Lucy did their jobs! (house dogs)

Awesome location!

This is such an awesome getaway spot! Steps away from the ocean with miles of empty beach. The house is fully run on solar and there were a few nights when power went out. May have been bc cloudy days? Fred was super responsive and really worked to resolve issue. We would definitely stay here again.

Great spot, fairly simple.

This beach house was in a great location- about 20-25 min walk to the main surfing area at Cerritos beach. It’s a bummer the hurricane took out some of the cabanas and hammocks out front, but the one that’s still standing is a nice place to read and hangout. The fire pit is awesome, and you can’t beat being right on the ocean! The amenities included inside the house were pretty basic, but it was sufficient for what we needed. Fred is awesome and his dogs are so friendly! We would stay there again.

Relaxing Ocean Front

My family and I stayed at both properties that Fred owns. They were clean and comfortable. The beach views are great and it is so nice to have your own beach front to enjoy each day. We were even able to see whales and dolphins during our stay. He has lots of stuff for you to use and relax on. A couple of hammocks, lounging chairs, shade, and even a bed out there on the sand in front of his property. If you like to hear the ocean while you sleep, this is the place. It was almost too loud at night for me! It was nice to be able to spend our whole vacation here and not really have to leave at all. It is a convenient location to todos santos and los cabos. We had a nice vacation overall.

Weird layout, only 1 private bedroom, but on the beach with great view

Pros: Good price for being right on the beach. Waking up to whales swimming by the front windows can't be beat! The space is generally functional and the beds are comfortable. Cons: Lack of privacy! Only 1 bedroom has a door. I understood that 1 bedroom was semi-private, but both bathrooms can only be accessed by walking through a 'true' bedroom. So, it was awkward for our group (2 couples, 1 single person) - The single person in the 'semi-private' room had to walk through our (also doorless) bedroom to access the bathroom. Very very odd. And no light in the shower. One night, the dogs upstairs barked endlessly all night, but I think because the host was gone. Also, the location is sort of surfable, but the best surf spot is a 15 min drive at the point of Cerritos beach. Be aware that there are no stores or restaurants in easy walking distance.

Amazing location!

We loved our stay at Los Cerritos Beach Palace. The property is water and energy conscious (solar), so do not expect long, hot showers, a “gourmet” kitchen or other “high end” (aka wasteful) amenities. Still, there is wi-fi available, and everything you need for a beautiful beach stay. We did not have a car, while one is recommended, and we were able to walk to a little market for ice and water and down to the Los Cerritos beach bar for lovely drinks and fish tacos. We did not do too much other exploring, but there are other places near Cerritos Beach worth checking out. Whale watching and sunsets were both amazing from the property. One can simply walk down to the surf and watch the manta rays play in the waves. If you are really lucky, you will meet neighbor Tyler, who fishes from the shore. We had an unforgetable impromptu fishing experience with him! Our two humble suggestions would be a toaster and a milder (less-to-unscented) laundry detergent. When we arrived, the whole house was filled with the smell (pleasing to some, no doubt, but too strong for us) of the detergent used on all of the linens. We aired out the sheets, blankets and towels that we used on the first day. By the second night, it was a much less intense aromatic experience. Overall, if you are looking for a low-key beach get away, rent this place and you will not be disappointed! Thank you Fred and Lucienne (Griz and Lucy) - highlight of our trip for sure!

Best beach in Todos Santos

Fred and his wife were amazing hosts. Their dogs Griz and Lucy were darling. This home is a basic beach house with everything you need for a relaxing beach vacation. The star of the show is the private beach! The seating and shade are perfect. You could go all day and see a dozen people max. Plenty of boogie boards and towels. Fred is a great host with lots of local knowledge. Thankful he shares ed his home with our family.

Loved It! Challenging to Sleep

What a great place! Terrific location! It could use some screen doors and ventilation as it is stuffy. Sweet owner and dogs, but they bark in the night and early in the morning, so didn't sleep well. A wonderful time, very comfortable.

Private Beach

We were travelling to the Baja to vacation with our adult children for surfing and fun in the sun. The Cerritos Beach Palace was very comfortable and we felt safe in the area. The owner, Fred, was very accomodating and provided a few extras for our convenience. He was a great host and very responsive to messages. Fred's dogs, Grizz and Lucy were very friendly and quiet. We were staying in the large main floor suite right on the beach, which had a full kitchen, 2 full bathrooms and 3 showers + 1 outdoor shower, and commom area to house us comfortably. The beds were very comfortable and the ammenities were great for our group of 6. There were multiple seating areas overlooking the beach with lounge chairs, 2 cabanas, hammocks and patio with plenty of shade. We walked 2 km. to the Cerritos public beach each day where there was a restaurant and lots of activity. The beach is beautiful out front but the waves are very powerful (for surfing), so not recommended for small children. (Public Beach is better for children). Some updates could be made to the outdoor patio furniture, but overall, we loved the location and the space was a 10! I would definately recommend for a nice peaceful getaway and hope to get back to Cerritos soon!

On the beach

Awesome hosts, great time, a few quirks in August

Fred & Gaia are super relaxed and helpful. Being right on the beach was great. Bring house slippers so you don’t take sandy shoes inside. Outdoor and indoor furnishings could be freshened up, but they are functional. Be prepared for heat/humidity in August. I had a lot of questions and then we needed help when we lost power - Fred & Gaia were friendly and responsive. Very fun time in Cerritos! Thank you
