Tucked in a quiet side street adjacent to East Beach, North Berwick, you will find our beautifully appointed recently upgraded own door, ground floor, 2 bedroom Victorian apartment. Just a mere 10 strides from East Beach. You’ll hear the sea as you turn the key in the door!

What is more this apartment is just a few minutes’ walk to the Town centre making this property the ideal location for exploring North Berwick and visiting local attractions.

THE SPACE

Being a Victorian building our property has high ceilings and the rooms are of good proportion. Understated coastal style with homewares and accessories inspired by the sea and coastal living are peppered throughout our home. Using a colour palette of ocean hues and the surrounding natural environment, we hope our home offers you a relaxed ambience.

This ground floor spacious apartment/flat has its own private main door entrance, and the accommodation is all on the one level, with no stairs. The perfect seaside retreat for individuals, couples and small families looking for accommodation next to the beach, in a quiet area of North Berwick.

The accommodation consists of the whole apartment. Our rooms include: a lounge, separate kitchen diner, laundry room, wet room with toilet, 2 bedrooms and a Book Nook room!

KITCHEN DINER

The kitchen diner is a good sized space, with plenty of cupboards and a walk in pantry cupboard. Integrated appliances including a dishwasher and fridge freezer compliment this space. There is a wide range of glassware and dinnerware for our guests. Plus a selection of recipe books on display if you need inspiration in the kitchen! A large dining table with benches and chairs completes this spacious room.

LAUNDRY ROOM

Situated off the kitchen diner, the laundry room has a Bosch washing machine and separate tumble dryer. A ceiling clothes pulley / dryer is provided for use. Laundry detergents are provided for guests.

LOUNGE ROOM

Coastal accessories and decor including a driftwood chandelier compliment, this light filled room. A custom built media unit with overhanging lights and a wall hung smart tv, complete this contemporary space. If you take a peek out the window you’ll catch a side view of the beach!

BEDROOM (1)

This master bedroom has an ‘Extra King’ zip and link bed, measuring 6’ 0”wide x 6’ 3” long. Being a zip and link bed offers flexibility between an Extra King and twin bed options. Please note this bed will always be made up as an Extra King size bed. If you require the bed to be split and set up as 2 single beds, you must request this when booking the property.

An open wardrobe and dressing table with cocktail chair complete the master bedroom.

BEDROOM (2)

Two standard single beds measuring 3’ 0” wide x 6’3” long fit neatly into this smaller room. A beach hut wardrobe with shelving compliments the coastal look.

WET ROOM

With an electric shower, this practical and minimalist space, with toilet and washbasin is accessible for all.

BOOK NOOK

We also have a ‘Book Nook’ ! A room dedicated to smaller guests, although well behaved grownups are welcome too! Explore the bookshelves, make a selection, then cosy up on the velvet couch!

QUIET TIMES

The property is located in a quiet residential area and although this is a holiday destination, it’s home to many people. Therefore between the hours of 10pm-8am, noise should be kept to a minimum.

PARKING

There is no car parking space associated with this property. However, we are fortunate to have free unrestricted on-street parking on Melbourne Road (along the beach wall) which is adjacent to Balfour Street.

In addition, there is free parking in the town car parks including; The Scottish Seabird Centre car park, The Glebe car park and The Imperial car park, all within a short walk from the property.

Rules regarding on street parking can vary dependent on the season / time of year. Our advice with regards to parking in the local area is to always look for and read the parking signs prior to leaving your vehicle. Unfortunately we are unable to assist with parking matters on the day of check-in or at other times.

GUEST ACCESS

Guests have access to the whole apartment.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE: -

Guests are not permitted to use the outdoor drying green/garden area, at the rear of the property. This is a communal area shared with other properties and is not included in our short term let licence.

Lovely property great location

Right next to the beach. The property was beautifully presented throughout. Very clean, all amenities working and in good order. Host was informative and helpful. No problems, would definitely use again. Thanks for a great trip.
