Wonderful Place

Cape Escape was absolutely perfect for our family. A 2-3 minute walk to the beach and a pool for the kids. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The hosts were incredibly responsive and very helpful with recommendations. Will absolutely stay here again.

Wonderful Beach Retreat

This is a wonderful house. My husband and I continually noticed many touches--like the well-appointed kitchen, beach and pool equipment, and comfortable deck--that made this a great rental. The owner was very helpful with the few questions that I had. It is a great neighborhood that's a short walk to the beach and short drive to all the places we wanted to visit in Cape May. We look forward to staying here again.

Fantastic home in a perfect location

My family had a wonderful week at the Cape Escape. The bay beach is beautiful and less than a block away. The pool was so refreshing and a great addition for a beach vacation. The house is clean, extremely comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. We can’t wait to go back!!

House was better than advertised! Pool was great and had everything we could need. The house has great updates to it and is stocked with everything you would need. The owner was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We will booking this location again for sure.

Everthing you need in a rental!

Quiet, family-friendly neighborhood and a 2 minute walk to the beach. The garage stocked with beach and pool supplies is a real bonus, saved us space packing. Kitchen was better stocked than any other rental we've stayed in. The owner is helpful and communicative. Great week at Cape May!

Better then expected

The house and location was great!!! I would definitely stay there again. The only issue was the weather. We had low to mid 70s weather for the week, which perverted us from using the pool as much as we would.

Best stay in Cape May

My family and I loved staying at Cape Escape. The house was so clean. The decor is so inviting and makes you feel at home. The owners supply so much for you.. pool floats, games, beach supplies, kitchen necessities, etc etc etc!! The owner would always check-in to make sure we were enjoying our stay and to see if we had any questions. The pool in the backyard was used every day by our kids. Having the bay beach 1 block away was so convenient. Such a great place overall. We are already counting down until our return visit next summer!!

Spotless and Great Location

We had a wonderful week! The house was spotless. The bay beach was literally around the corner, about a 2 minute walk. It was very hot while we were there so we pretty much were in the pool all day, it also was very clean. 12 minute drive to Cape May shops, 35 minute drive to Ocean City. Plenty of places to order take-out and curbside. WAWA was just 5 minutes away. Perfect vacation for 2020!

The house was located just a block from the beach which was great! The owners supplied beach chairs for our use. Although the house was clean, we were expected to bring our own sheets and towels. This was a first in renting a house. Also, it was expected that we clean the property! That is totally irregular! Will not stay there again!

Wonderful escape!

My family had a lovely time at Cape Escape! The property was clean, well appointed and in a great neighborhood. The pool was the highlight for us! We spent hours upon hours in the pool. The home itself was more spacious than I expected based on the pictures. Definitely a fabulous week’s vacation!

Beautiful home

This house was just beautiful so clean spacious the kitchen fully stocked with everything that you needed. There was plenty of cleaning supplies etc. the bedrooms were great very spacious. The beds were so comfortable. The pool was fab we were very lucky with the weather it was very hot and the water was so nice in the pool. There was loads of pool accessories in the garage it was fantastic. The bbq was fantastic so easy to use. It was so nice to relax outside on the deck half of the deck was shaded with a canopy it was great. The beach was a two min walk and the garage was full of beach chairs umbrellas and kid’s accessories to use for the beach also there were bikes in the garage if you wanted to go for a bike ride. The area was so peaceful and quiet just what we wanted. The subset in the evening was breathtaking. Dave and Karen we cannot I thank you enough for your beautiful home it was a fantastic vacation so enjoyable and beautiful location.

Great stay

Great vacation. House was clean and comfortable. More than enough space to spread out. We were really surprised by all the home offered. Well stocked kitchen, garage full of beach chairs and umbrellas as well as stuff for the pool. Basically had everything we needed and then some. Owner was great. Communicated regularly and very helpful with local recommendations. He seemed to genuinely care that we had a good time. Between the beach being a very short walk and all other Cape May attractions just a short drive I feel we picked the best spot for our trip. Me and my family really enjoyed our stay and planning on returning.

Dave & Karen Gottardi have owned and managed rental properties in Southern New Jersey for over 25 years. This is our first adventure at the Jersey Shore. We currently live in Haddonfield NJ just a short ride from North Cape May.

Varför vÀrden valde detta boende

Karen and I have been coming to the Jersey shore our entire lives, both growing up with our families and together with our current families. We love the area so much and have decided that the North Cape May/Cape May area is the best place to vacation along the entire shore line! There is always something happening and everything is so close by you will never be bored. Wineries, beautiful beaches, shopping, boardwalks, fishing, sunset watching, you name it its here for your enjoyment.
