Perfect location for Vail Village

The place is as described with an Amazing location!. It is perfect for enjoying the town of Vail, conveniently located beside the town-bus for the kid's ski school and a short walk for the gondola.

Location was unbeatable

Our family really enjoyed this property. It has a lot of character and you really feel like you are in a cabin. The views are incredible and you are right in the middle of town.

Great location, Outdated Condo

The condo itself was comfortable and spacious, but it is very outdated and did not provide as much as past rental experiences. No shampoos, like two towels per bathroom, and no coffee or anything provided to start you off with like others. For 6 people, we had to keep doing towel laundry as everyone was provided with one towel each for the whole week and we had to look for a place to get quarters for the washer/dryer room in the basement. Pots, pans, everything provided seemed to be 20 years old. Check-in is not an easy process as you have to stop by the front office down the road first to get keys and then go to the actual building. Must be able to carry luggage up two flights of stairs plus another to get to second floor bedroom without elevator. Location wise, right in the middle of the village across from the Solaris. Bus stop right outside, so it was easy getting anywhere. Long walk to gondola and must ride bus to get to lift and ski school at Golden Peak. Overall, the rental was comfortable enough, but could have been better, and location was pretty good, but we prefer Lionshead.

Great location, Enjoyed the secure feel. A little difficult getting luggage in and out

Great working with Lee our family needs. I wish we had more snow but that was just not in the cards this year. I would highly recommend working with Vail Realty in securing and arranging accommodations.

Talisman

The location of Talisman is not to be beat and effectively trumps everything else. The property is somewhat dated but very comfortable though the master bedroom in the loft was warm when we visited in July. Everything in the unit worked well and we had absolutely no issues. The setting looking over the creek is terrific. Parking is tight but there is a space which is great to have right in the heart of the village. The check-in process was easy but there was a bit too much paperwork to deal with beforehand with a lot of rules. Overall we had a terrific stay and would recommend this property.

Beautiful property in unbelievable location!

We came into town for a family wedding and stayed for 3 nights. The property was very clean, well stocked, and in an unbelievable location! The only surprise was finding that the master bedroom was lofted above the living space and didn’t have any door/privacy. It was completely fine for our group and our short stay, but something to take note of if you plan to stay longer or have kids at the property. The check-in and out process was so easy, and the team even accommodated a very early check in for us, which was so appreciated after traveling for a long day. It was right in the center of Vail Village and a quick walk to everything we needed. The included parking space was a bonus, but honestly we didn’t need our car once we got there. I will absolutely be back to stay, and would recommend this property or any other Vail Realty property to everyone I know. Thanks again!

Great Location/Likely Better to Stay in Winter

Unit was spacious and clean with a nice balcony looking over the creek and Vail Mountain. One assigned parking space in undergound garage with access to unit via an elevator then proceed to unit accross sidewalk and up one flight of stairs. Layout is two bedrooms, 2.5 baths and living area on one floor with master up a spiral staircase to a loft area with a large bath. Bath has an angled roof line and a sign to watch one's head. Daytime highs in Vail Village during our stay were in the upper 70s. Only windows to create a draft are on main living floor. We opened sliding screened door to balcony and bedroom windows on opposite side of unit and placed one of two provided box fans in front of open screen door. At 8:00 am the temperature upstairs in master was 74 degrees about 10 degrees warmer than main living floor. We were only using two of the three bedrooms, so we stayed in a downstairs bedroom on our last night. Units with no A/C in Vail are common. However, we could not cool the upstairs loft to a comfortable sleeping temperature with box fans and ceiling fan turned on.

Great location and view

This is a great location for staying in the Village in the summer. It opens out onto the Sunday Farmer's Market which is well worth exploring. Takes about 10 minutes to walk to Gondola One and 5 minutes from the village parking structure if you need to park another vehicle. The kitchen is well stocked with spices, plates, pots and pans. There is no A/C but if you keep fans on and windows open it is fine. The unit is dated but very charming, tons of photos of the family who owns it tracing their ski vacations over the years of Vail. The carpet/floor on the balcony needs to be replaced, it is very dirty. Everything else was totally clean but the bed comforters or duvets need to be replaced with something newer/softer. If you are particular about soap and shampoo items bring your own. The bar soap provided was either really dried out or just not high quality. Note that there is no pool or hot tub on property. The property manager suggested we could get a day pass to use the pool at the Sonnenalp Hotel next door but the hotel said they did not do that. We enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Great location, horrible property

Great location in the heart of Vail Village, but everything else about the property is so lacking...old appliances, old furniture, old (and uncomfortable) beds, old pots and pans...needs updating in the worst way. How about providing some hand soap to wash your hands at any one of the sinks. Anyway...great location, but that's about it.

Boho in the Village

If you want to be in the village, with a great view and Gore creek under your nose, stay here! Our family of four enjoyed 5 relaxing days in this lovely unit. The unit is fully stocked, decorated in original and well made Boho design. Plenty of room to spread out and yet still feel close. Fun times had by all with hiking, fly fishing, eating and shopping in this gorgeous town.
