Elegant, ren och rymlig svit ligger i den underbara och tysta Forest Heights Neighborhood, inbäddat i West Hills i centrala Portland.
Fantastiskt läge och en kort bilavstånd till allt inklusive downtown NW 23rd restauranger, trendiga butiker och kaféer i Portland (5 miles), Forest Park vandring, Zoo, Washington Park, cykelleder, Nike, Intel, Providence St. Vincent sjukhus. Det är bekvämt beläget för att åka på dagsutflykter till stranden eller berget (1,5 timmar - 2,5 timmar). Listan är oändlig.

Du kommer att ha det perfekta gömställe att komma hem till efter dina dagar utforska staden och dess underbara omgivande kvarter.
Vardagsrummet har bekväma La-z-boy soffa och fåtölj stol. Brädspel och samling av DVD-filmer finns för din underhållning.
Vardagsrummet har en stor skjutdörr som ser ut på uteplatsen och skogen bortom.
Sovrummen har queen size-sängar. Båda sängarna är inställda för komfort som sitt främsta mål, med färskt (400-600 trådantal) sängkläder för att få dig att känna dig bortskämd. Båda sovrummen har en generös garderob.

Absolutely beautiful and quiet!

We enjoyed our stay here. Marina is a wonderful host. The apartment is just as described. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. Great location to stay as you explore Portland and surrounding areas. Convenient location to stores and restaurants. We loved walking around the neighborhood and trails in the morning. We will definitely stay here if we come to Portland again.

Stay in May

This was a great place to stay for us and learn our way around Portland. The location is very quiet and you can get hooked on watching the sunsets nearby. The owner quickly responds to your questions. We are flat landers and it took a while for us to get used to the steep streets. This is very good quality property for the cost.

Huge space for a small amount of money

The size of this VBRO is impressive for how little the nightly price. Communication was beyond impressive and probably one of the best I have received in all the years I have used VBRO. The beds were super comfortable, and the assortment of games allowed us to have a one of a kind enjoyable family night. Overall this place is a true hidden gem. I use the word hidden because the only downfall I had was, wasn’t actually the VBRO itself- its was how far it was from downtown. It’s not necessarily close to downtown at least with the directions it took us to get there. A long road of switch backs at a very slow speed.

Beautiful property

The location was a little bit farther than I expected from the location we were spending most of our time in Portland at but it's an absolutely beautiful drive to get there. The area felt very safe and comfortable. The rental was clean and well equipped to keep us all entertained for hours. The girls enjoyed the pool table and the games available. The furniture was comfortable and laid out for best use. The hosts were gracious and kind. Willing to assist with any need. They had laid out snacks and the kitchen was equipped with all the basics. We really enjoyed our stay.

Delightful

This is nestled in the forest hills of Portland, in a lovely neighborhood. The place was perfect for quiet time but also easy access to the city. Comfortable suite

Marina is very accurate in her description of the rental and wonderfully responsive. We had no issues whatsoever. The porch is perfect for coffee in the morning and bubbles for the toddler in the evenings. The hot plate is functional and for our short stay we didnt miss an oven. The parking does feel uncomfortable, the hills are steep and wind around tightly. I wouldnt want to be driving a manual car to this location! Truly, that is our only note.

Beautiful property in a beautiful neighborhood.

The one bathroom turns into a 1 1/2 bath because of the two doors into the commode room. The steps down to the VRBO are to be seriously considered if you are infirm, unstable or have considerable luggage. This is a wonderful quiet location and away from all action but very easy to drive to town for restaurants and shopping or exploring. When we returned in the evening, we were very comfortable and enjoyed the deck and watching movies. Sleeping was comfortable. It feels safe. Be aware that you will hear the owners upstairs. Suggestions for the owner: suitcase stands for each bedroom; plain, unflavored creamer, more ice trays - small things but would enhance the stay.

Gem in the Hills

Our visit to Portland was made much more enjoyable with these spacious and delightful accommodations. The description of this property in the "details" section is very accurate. It felt like we were at home. Plentiful supplies of cleaning products, bath accessories, and snacks made it all the more enjoyable. We actually spent one whole day on the deck playing games while the birds and squirrels scampered in the overhead forested area. For our needs, we found the location quiet and serene with many Portland activities within a 10-20 minute drive. We would especially like to thank Marina for accommodating a special request that made our unforeseen dilemma fixable and also for her quick responses to our inquiries. C. Rios

Very disappointing

We had to ask the property person for heat which she controlled. It was freezing. No stove or oven. All games were missing pieces. Lighting on step very poor at night. Drapes only closed half way in the living room.

Wonderful Stay

My father and I stayed here for a few nights and had a wonderful time. The place is set amongst the hill side of Northwest Heights. There were amazing views of the city of Portland from the drive to get to the apartment. The neighborhood was quiet and residential. We felt very safe and there was plenty of street parking we definitely did not have to fight others for parking like some of the areas in Portland. The apartment was downstairs from the owners of the property. We had our own separate entrance and if we needed anything or had any issues (which we didn’t have) the owners were close by and easy to get to via text or phone. Our entrance looked onto trees and a big beautiful deck. Marina (owner) was so friendly and hospitable, she even made us some tasty treats which were so delicious that I’d rather have them than the doughnuts down at Voo Doo. Marina was so accommodating and texted me the morning that I checked in to tell me that the apartment was available for earlier check in if I needed or wanted. Plus at no extra fee! This made a big difference as our plane got in early and we were worried about leaving suitcases in the back of the SUV that we rented and touring around Portland with the suitcases in open view. Coming from San Francisco we know that’s the prime candidate for having the windows smashed. The apartment was so beautifully decorated and had all the necessities in the kitchen/bar that we would need all the way down to a corkscrew and a measuring cup. There were so many complimentary amenities as well such as a large selection of teas, snacks and freshly ground good coffee with plenty of filters. Not just the Yuban or Folgers. The beds were very comfortable. And there was a great pool table in the other room if we wanted to play pool. There were plenty of DVDs and board games in the front room. Unfortunately it rained about 95% of our trip but we always came back to a nice warm and cozy place. Best part was on my day of departure after I had left. I got an email saying that my refundable damage deposit was going to be returned to me. Wow! Most rentals I have rented from I normally have to wait at least 7 days before I even see any correspondence that I would be receiving my deposit back. We would definitely not hesitate to stay here again if we are ever back in Portland.

Beautiful Stay!

Flowers were everywhere, and overlooked a tremendously green fully with a gentle creek. House was very comfortable. Plenty of relaxing options after a busy day.
