Amazing Historic Portuguese Apartment in the Albufeira Old Town - Up to 4 Guests
New to VRBO - Casa da Vila, an incredible historic apartment right in the centre of the oldest part of Albufeira Old Town. Built over 200 years ago but fully modernised, with everything you could possibly want.
All the photos shown, of the beaches and town, are only a few minutes walk away. This part of the Old Town is simply stunning.
Just a few minutes walk to Albufeira's main beach. Surrounded by bars, restaurants and shops, indeed, there must be over 300 restaurants located within a 30 second to 5 minute walk away. The apartment is located in the upmarket area of the Old Town, just a minute from the main church and museum.
Being in this part of the Old town you will have to expect a degree of noise but, if you are choosing this apartment, it's because you want to be right in the thick of the holiday excitement and atmosphere. However, the apartment is fully double glazed, so still very quiet.
Ideal for couples and families, but sorry, no single stag or hen parties.
There is one double bedroom and one twin, but the twin can easily be set up as a double. There is one large shower room, separate kitchen, living room with dining area. There is also a small outside patio for open air dining, assuming you wish to eat in the apartment.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, microwave, washing machine, dishwasher, in fact everything you could possibly want. All bed linen and towels are supplied.
NOTE 1 - FROM MAY 2024 PORTUGAL HAS INTRODUCED A DAILY TOURIST TAX THAT MUST BE PAID ON ARRIVAL TO THE VILLA MANAGER - âŹ2 PER DAY UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 7 DAYS FOR ALL GUESTS AGED 13 AND OVER.
NOTE 2 - PRICES QUOTED ARE FOR 2025 ONLY. FOR 2026 PRICES WILL BE AMENDED BY MID 2025.

About the Owner's Agent
My name is Ken Paterson married to Yvonne. We do not own this property; it is owned by Portuguese friends. The apartment is managed locally by a local Villa Management company, and we now handle the bookings for them in the UK and commenced doing so from June 2018. I worked in Financial services as the Compliance & Risk Director for a major national Independent Financial Adviser, but now retired. Yvonne was an office manager with an estate agent, previously with a major high street bank, IBM, but also now retired.
We bought our first apartment at Villa Rosal in Sao Raphael near Albufeira 21 years ago, when we first met Nuno and Rogerio, owners of the Villa Management company, that manages villas on behalf of clients Nuno is also an Estate Agent.
We now live for 9 or 10 months each year in Albufeira.
If like us you want a real holiday atmosphere in a busy exciting city and close to everything then Casa da Vila provides it.

It's a lovely modern apartment, which is very well equipped, and located in a historic 200 year old Albufeira building. Car hire is not essential as everything is walkable in a few minutes.
