En fyra sovrum, tre bad hem, i ett bassäng, tucked tillbaka på fastigheten på 51 hektar mark, omgiven av 3 dammar matas från bergen ovanför. Njut av vandring och cykling upp Duval-spåret eller runt Dunmore-sjön, fiske i dammarna eller sitta på den vidsträckta överbyggnaden och njut av hästarna som betar i fälten. Huset byggdes 2005 levereras med ett stort inbyggt kök med en propan spis och rostfria vitvaror, stor köksö med plats för 4 och öppen konceptmatsal. Den bakre solrummet har också ett stort utvändigt däck med utsikt över bergen.
Gästerna kommer att njuta av två vardagsrum med gaseldspisar, fyra sovrum och 3 badrum. Två sovrum har eget badrum, ett stort djupt badkar. Den främre vardagsrummet har välvda tak, som leder till sovrummet på övervåningen med eget bad och vardagsrum.
Den främre wrap runt täckt veranda har gott om utrymme för att leva och matsal och festa, med två takfläktar och utomhusbelysning.
Fastigheten är väl anlagd med blommor och träd för privatliv, och är en utmärkt egenskap för fester och stora sammankomster.

En perfekt plats att koppla av för en tillflyktsort med familj och vänner.

Family weekend getaway

Lovely home in Brandon, VT

We enjoyed staying at this prperty as location and surrounding was very scenic. The house very comfortable, the bed rooms and bathroom were very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked our breakfast and dinner at home only. The living room and family room were well decorated with nice electric fire place. The location was close to attractions and we all had lovel time. The host checked with us few times for our comfort and we all appreciate the same. Perfect home to stay in while we were at a Wedding

We had a wedding in Goshen Vermont at the Blueberry Hill Inn. This lovely home was only 15 minutes from the venue so was perfect location for us. The home was perfect, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed.

Charming property in beautiful location

We came to Brandon for a family wedding and had the best experience at the property. Sherry was a very attentive host, the house was gorgeous and the grounds were incredible. There were horses and a couple of ponds. We will definitely be back.

Another time with solitude

Once again , we had a very enjoyable week in Brandon Vt. You couldn't ask for more

The house was quite large and beautifully appointed. Everything was clean and great attention was paid to comfort. The grounds and ponds were beautiful, as was the wildlife. The kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes. There are 2 main sitting areas, each with a TV and plenty of seating. 3 bedrooms are on the lower level with 2 baths. One bath is attached to 1 bedroom with a queen bed. The upstairs is a lovely suite with a queen bed, full bath and small study. We would love to stay here again.

Peaceful, Relaxing Getaway

My family enjoyed staying at this beautiful and charming house located on well maintained farmland with ponds for canoeing, paddle boarding, fishing. We loved visiting and feeding carrots to the neighbor’s horses and relaxing on the comfortable porch while taking in the gorgeous view of the sunset/rise across the landscape. With hiking trails, shopping, restaurants, and beach close by there was plenty to do. We would highly recommend this property as it was clean, comfortable, and offered something for everyone.

Always a delight!

This is such a wonderful place to relax and get away from stress - picture perfect and very comfortable. This year I was recuperating so spent lots of time on the deep porch reading and watching the nature around me. The couch is perfect for naps or watching the rain come down. It's conveniently located near Brandon, and not far from Rutland and Middlebury for quick trips for groceries, shopping, and restaurants. Branbury State Park/Lake Dunmore is a short drive away for a day at the lake. The house is comfortable and well appointed. Four bedrooms and three baths accommodate everyone nicely, the kitchen is a dream to cook in, and two family rooms (each with a TV) provide plenty of space for all. The A/C units were working overtime this year with the unusual extreme heat. Sherry is marvelous to work with and has a vast knowledge of the area, She checks in occasionally to make sure all is going well and to answer any questions you may have. She also provides detailed notes and recommendations for you upon arrival.

Beautiful Property, well appointed house, wonderful stay

My wife and I spent five lovely days at Sherry’s fabulous Vermont getaway in my old home town of Brandon. The grounds were beautiful and we spent hours just sitting on the comfortable porch and admiring the scenery and watching the barn swallows nesting above us. My brother visited from Rhode Island for a few days and discovered that the property was where he had spent 4-5 summers at a boys camp run by the original owners of the property back in the 50s. What an idyllic retreat!

Memorial Day Weekend Getaway

We had a wonderful time with our adult children and parents staying at Sherry’s lovely, clean & well stocked home. Everything from easy communication, good wifi, comfy beds to the experience of sitting on the back porch with a front row seat to natures symphony was incredible. It was a perfect spot to spend quality time as a family!

Quaint little piece of heaven

Beautiful, peaceful place surrounded by the mountains, a river/pond, wildlife and the neighbors' horses, who will indulge your attention for some carrots. The house is very comfortable and well equipped with everything you'll need. Upstairs master bedroom/bathroom would not be ideal for anyone over 6 feet tall, as the ceiling is quite low (adding to the charm). The mattresses are all comfortable. There are lots of chairs and areas to sit solo or as a group. The porch is large, with a beautiful view. Sherry seems to have thought of everything and is on standby if needed, but not intrusive. The place just feels like home and has great character without the sacrifices that sometimes entails. Traveled with teen and older children, as well as grandparents, and no one wanted to leave.

A wonderful stay!

As we drove up the driveway, it was snowing, and with four horses grazing nearby, we felt like we were in a snow globe. My husband and I had a wonderful stay with three dear friends in this comfortable home nestled into such a serene property. We enjoyed an excursion to Brandon, where we found great buys at the bookstore and had a supremely delicious lunch at Cafe Provence. We were glad to meet the homeowner before we departed!

Great Leaf Peeping Weekend

We (two couples) had a fabulous long weekend leaf peeping throughout Vermont. Sherry is a gracious and accommodating host who has furnished the place with everything you need to have a relaxing stay. The town of Brandon is quaint but not crowded with a first-class French restaurant plus a great local bakery. Brandon was perfect for us as it is off the beaten path but close to it. All four of us highly recommend Sherry's place if you are looking to stay in the Vermont area.

Wedding in Vermont

This is the perfect Vermont county home! We attended a wedding not far from the house, so we could not more pleased with the location. My wife, three adult children and some of their significant others stayed at the house with us. The house has four beautiful bedrooms so there was plenty of room for all. The house is supper clean and beautifully decorated - all the charm of a true county Vermont home. The outside property is very spacious and well maintained. The pond on the property is just a perfect touch to this appealing property. The town of Brandon is just a few miles away and is a nice old fashion town with good dining, supermarket, antique shops and other amenities. We are looking forward to spending another weekend at the house over the winter.

Fantastic

We are a group of 6 UVM grads who just had our own 50th reunion at this beautiful Brandon property. It was fantastic in every way. Very well equipped with everything you would need and very clean. Sherry, the owner, was extremely efficient in detailing the house and communicating with us. All in all a wonderful experience in every way.

Relaxing stay

The property was absolutely stunning. Such a peaceful place with gorgeous mountain views. Plenty of space to spread out. The neighbors horses were so wonderful to just sit on the porch and watch grazing. The deck was perfect to sit out on the rainy days. The 2 hummingbirds that would flutter by made my father in law very happy. He loves little guys. The house was immaculate and had everything you would need.

Suits us just fine!

We keep coming back for a variety of reasons - the house is very comfortable and has everything one could need, the location is convenient whether it's running in to Brandon for groceries or traveling north/south easily, and it's such a relaxing property with a fantastic porch I could just sit on all day (rain or shine). Sherry maintains the property beautifully and is always quick to respond to messages. She also leaves a packet of information regarding the home as well as suggestions of places to eat and things to do in the area.
