With private parking this is the perfect spot for a relaxing retreat, youâll soon forget the stresses of everyday life at Turnstone Cottage.
This beautiful dog friendly property is the ultimate retreat by the sea with free private garage parking for 1 car. Youâll find two en-suite bedrooms on the ground floor of Turnstone Cottage. The master bedroom features a comfy king size bed, premium bed linens and a tranquil neutral colour scheme. Ideal for younger ones, the second bedroom is a twin.
Upstairs youâll find the open plan living, dining and kitchen space with WC. The kitchen is a beautiful dove grey colour with black marble worktops. Equipped with modern appliances and all cookware, youâll be able to prepare meals easily during your visit. The dining area includes a rustic table and quirky metal dining chairs.
The living area has two leather sofas, a flat screen TV and large windows showcasing sea views. The patio doors open out onto the balcony which has a seating area and beach views. Perfect for morning coffees and alfresco meals, youâll have incredible views of the coast.

Turnstone Cottage is owned and maintained by Heather and Iain Vitty who are passionate about their cottages and Whitby, where they now live so are on hand to help you with any questions or queries you may have to help your holiday run smoothly.
The small fishing village of Sandsend sits at the end of almost 3 miles of sandy beach, west along the bay from Whitby. Perfect for relaxing stays, you can watch the surfers bob in the distance as you stretch your legs along the shores and soak up the sea air as you feel the sand beneath your toes. Youâll have a selection of restaurants, cafes and a local pub for you to enjoy during your stay.
Whitby is a short 10 minute drive from Sandsend where you can explore everything the seaside town has to offer. Visit the infamous Whitby Abbey which went on to inspire Bram Stokerâs gothic novel âDraculaâ. Try the local catch of the day in one of the many fish restaurants, enjoy a drink in the cosy pubs and feel nostalgia in the arcades which line Pier Road. You canât miss the beautiful Blue Flag West Cliff beach which is complete with colourful huts on the promenade.
