Its convenient location is perfect for anyone who wants to explore both Devon and Cornwall, whether you prefer stretching out on the beach or venturing to picturesque villages and exciting family attractions.
Enter this welcoming property (one step up) and youâll find yourself in the bright kitchen/diner, a gorgeous space with a wooden floor and tiled walls, equipped with all youâll need for creating hearty holiday meals. Take the stairs to the first floor, where the lounge is tucked under a sloping ceiling with a picturesque beam and a skylight, through which you can see glimpses of the sea. Snuggle into the cosy sofas and enjoy streaming your favourite shows on the Smart TV with Roku. When youâre ready for bed, thereâs a sweet double room and a bunk-bed room with a single bed over a double, both with en-suite showers. For a quick snack or a morning coffee, take a seat at the bistro table just outside the front door, or head to the top of the drive to find a bench seat where you can relax in privacy, perhaps with a book or a sundowner.
With privacy assured, the cottage is located next to the ownerâs home, just off the Atlantic Highway. Hop in the car and you can easily access a plethora of fabulous destinations. The picturesque village of Bucks Mill is just 2 miles away, offering gorgeous sea views, a waterfall and a pebbly beach, while charming Clovelly is 5 miles away, famous for its cobbled, traffic-free streets and historic harbour. The sandy beach at Westward Ho!, loved by surfers, swimmers, kayakers and paddleboarders, is 7 miles away.
