Winter wonderland

Fantastic location as a base to see London’s winter wonderland and Christmas lights. Every convenience at your doorstep from restaurants, grocery stores and public transport . The apartment was spacious and spotlessly clean. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this apartment .

London Trip

The location of the apt. is terrific and responsiveness of the property manager was great before the trip, but inconsistent during our stay. There were a couple issues like a clogged drain and an inability to adjust the temperature of the apartment, and a challenge getting the WIFI to work. They did come and address some of the issures like getting the windows to open so we could cool down the apt.. They fixed one of the drains but the other remained clogged. It seems like there are more than one point person so it made it a bit frustrating when we had issues that needed better communication between the different point people. They did however appear to care about fixing our issues when on the phone and they did their best to assist us. The location is terrific, about a 5 minute walk to the tube station at Marble Arch and there is a starbucks real close which was nice!

Spacious apartment near Marble Arch

The apartment was a little hard to find at first. It was spacious, and about a 5-minute walk to the Marble Arch station. We didn't enjoy the street it was on. The windows didn't seem fully closed because we could hear quite a bit of noise from the street and even had lots of smoke odor entering some of the windows.We were grateful to have plenty of room, but hoped that the apartment would be cleaner overall. It looks like it's been recently updated, which was nice, but the rest of the building, particularly the lobby and elevator areas, smell and are a bit rundown.We had two instances while we were there that we weren't prepared for, and that should've happened not while we stayed there, when supposed work on windows and doors throughout the apartment and building were going to take place. We weren't contacted ahead of time by the host and two men knocked on the door wanting to come in to do work, so we had to try to get a hold of him to get more information. Another time we received a call saying work on windows might be done while we were there.Communication through the app would have been better than phone calls, and having any kind of maintenance work done, unless it's an emergency, should happen outside of a guest's stay. We also would've appreciated easier check-in. We had to meet someone to get the key.
