There is an entrance porch for coats, shoes and boots, which leads into a well-proportioned reception room and then to an initial kitchen, with steps down to a kitchen/diner and French doors opening onto the garden.
The south facing cottage garden is sunny and private, a lovely spot to eat and relax surrounded by birdsong, and has a herb garden that guests are welcome to use.
The spacious bathroom and toilet are on the ground floor by the back door of the cottage, as are the two kitchen areas with dining table and seating for up to 6 people.
The traditional cottage stairs lead to the spacious bedroom with a king size bed and, if required, a fold-out cube bed. The room is timbered and has a shuttered window overlooking the garden.Â
As is typical for a cottage of this age please be aware that the stairs are steep and winding, and also be mindful of the split level kitchen with steps down to the dining and reception rooms.
