I can't say enough of how wonderful this house was. We absolutely loved how much room there was in the living area. The house is stocked with so much. The easy walk to the dock. Unfortunately we only caught one fish. But we spend all 7 days in the lake. This is a must stay. Cousin's Cove will be back!

Great rental for extended family or large groups

This was a great house for our multigenerational family vacation with me and my wife, 3 adult children and spouses, and 4 grandchildren. Check-in and access to house was easy, and Jennie reached out immediately after check-in to let us know we could contact her with any questions or concerns during the stay. Plenty of room to spread out with each family having their own space and large great room and kitchen. House is very well equipped, better than many rentals at which we have stayed at Lake Norris. The labeling of drawers and cabinets with contents was much appreciated and made clean up and finding what we needed much easier. The distance to the lake was a little further than expected, but the paved walkway made for easier access than the long flights of steep steps that we have experienced at some other lake rentals. There are a few other homes nearby in the same cul-de-sac, but there were no issues regarding noise or privacy. Location in the Deerfield Resort also provided access to the golf course and tennis courts, which we enjoyed taking advantage of.

Great family getaway

Beautiful property, Norris Lake is amazing. The water is so clean and the dock and the slide on the dock were a big hit! The path down to the lake is steep but is paved, and the owner provided walking sticks to assist those of us who have a little trouble getting around and it was all just perfect! The house is well stocked clean and gorgeous. I stayed there with my husband and my four children and their families and we all were well accommodated.

Perfect for family gatherings

My family of 14 had a great time over our 1 week stay, The great room was perfect for gathering all 14 for meals, games, etc. and was roomy enough for anyone/all to enjoy quiet time if they chose to. We have stayed at quite a few VRBO homes over the years and i can honestly say the kitchen is the most well stocked with quality and quantity of cooking and eating ware & appliances we have ever had. We also had access to the hosts canoe and water boards which my grandsons loved.The covered dock was clean and an excellent land convenient location for storing our boat and jet skis. It was also an excellent fishing and swimming spot as the water was approx. 15-20 ft deep in a well protected no-wake zone cove. There was a marina right across from us where we launched our water toys and had an excellent lunch at the Tiki Hut. The lake itself is very clean, no debris. It is large enough to enjoy all your water sport toys but small enough to get to shore or a marina if you need to in a very short time. We never saw a need to stray more than a few miles away to enjoy all the lake activity over the entire course of our stay.The only negative comment I received from just 2 of my family is lack of a TV in their bedrooms, but I knew that before we arrived. This was a family gathering and not a week at their homes doing what they always do,Thank you Jennie for being such a terrific host. We are planning to return next year if we can carve out a week that works for everyone again.

Best place in Norris Lake

This house was amazing! The property was very spacious and well equipped compared to most vacation rentals we have stayed in. Location! Location! Location! It’s close to all the marinas, great bars, and other areas like jumping bridge or the damn. The boat was delivered to our dock which was amazing would highly recommend Oasis Watersports. The only recommendation I would make is to rent a golf cart to get back and forth from the dock but we saw most of the other house have a much steeper incline or lots of stairs. We will 100 percent be coming to this specific property and are going to make it a yearly trip. Can’t recommend this property enough and thank you for the wonderful experience and communication!

Youth Retreat on Norris Lake

We loved the house and the property. The kids had plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the activities the house had as well as spend time together in the main room. The kitchen is fabulous and so easy to prepare a big meal for our group.

Cousins Cove

This place was absolutely amazing. The house was in amazing condition, had just about everything you’d need for staying in, and was in a perfect location on the lake in proximity to a few marinas if you wanted to go out. The host was extremely quick to respond to any and all questions. Host texted us on arrival to welcome us and give our group a heads up on a local event at a winery. I would recommend this house to anyone who looks at it and have already shared with family and friends.

Great Property and house

The house was wonderful for our large group of 18, super clean and had all the amenities (except towels but they tell you that up front). The dock was wonderful! Water was a little low so it was a little dangerous getting to the dock but that was no fault of the host. It's not quite as flat as they describe between the house and the dock, best to bring a wagon or something to haul things back and forth. Would definitely stay again!

Amazing Lake House

What an amazing time we had. Three of the teen boys enjoyed a polar bear plunge into the lake. There is a firepit for outdoor fun and smore's. We enjoyed early morning and afternoon hilly walks with spectacular views. The house is amazing. The teen boys were able to hang downstairs at night without disturbing sleeping parents. They loved the pool table and fuzeball. The large table upstairs was great for games. The kitchen is so well stocked with everything you could need. Lots of fridge and freezer space and even drink coolers. The thermostat worked great to keep up warm. There is a washer and dryer as well. The beds were all so comfy. Jennie was a pleasure to work with.

Beautiful Home!

This is a gorgeous home! Very clean and spacious. Came very well stocked with all the dishes, pots, pans etc that you will need tp prepare meals in the large well lit kitchen. The large marble top island and the large dining table provided plenty of space for games and eating together. With 7 teenage boys, the pool table, foosball table and large screen TV downstairs in kept them very well occupied. Bedrooms are spacious and clean. The room i stayed in had a King size Sleep Number bed, which was fantastic. Looking forward to possibly staying again in the future. Thankyou so much Jennie! Cousins Cove is a wonderful place!

We stayed at Cousins Cove with 5 families of all ages for Thanksgiving this year. The house was plenty big enough for everyone and had everything we needed! I would definitely recommend this property!

Wonderful House, Great Proximity to Golf Course

The house is great and Jennie is a great host. She is very responsive, and the home was very clean for us. The layout for the house is ideal. The huge, open first floor was perfect. The house is in great condition, brand new everything. The kitchen was also well supplied with everything we needed for cooking. The deck with the lake view was stellar and the two grills are high end. As a bonus for us golfers, the proximity to the golf course was great. We could quickly stop after hole 12 and get snacks and then head back to the course.

Awesome vacation

We had a great time at this beautiful house. The house had plenty of room for everyone and the pool table and foosball table added to the fun at night. We had two boats with us and the dock was a great home for them. One of the most protected docks from both a wave standpoint and built in fenders and rub rails that we have seen on Norris. Swimming and relaxing from the dock when not on the boats was excellent. We would definitely recommend.

The house was perfect for our family vacation. Everything was clean, very organized and the location on the lake is perfect. Annual family vacation

Beautiful home, super well equipped with everything you need. Kids loved the slide off the dock and swimming in the quiet, clean cove. Screened in porch for evening family fun, fire pit for s’mores. Easy to find and the owners were extremely responsive to any questions we had. Marinas we’re close by to fuel up the boat we rented. Usually go to the beach, but Norris Lake is our new family vacay destination. Will definitely go back!

We love Norris Lake and have had a cabin on the lake for many years. Unfortunately our previous home had a LOT of steps. Many homes on the lake have in excess of 200 steps to reach the water. That can be a trade-off in the mountains. That is NOT the case here!!! With Cousins Cove we have a gentle slope for easier access and use as our multi-generational family needs change. In fact you can even drive down the paved path to the lake. Sure makes it easier to get the toys and coolers to the dock. Plus we love the community spirit and amenities in the Deerfield Resort.

Deerfield Resort offers tennis, golf, pool, playground and a marina. Other marinas are nearby for a suite of full-service amenities including boat rentals. This is a great place to fish, too.
