Guests can unwind on the private veranda, taking in the beautiful views over the meadows and countryside. One of the bedrooms boasts an en-suite, complemented by a family bathroom for added convenience. All three lodges share common features, including private verandas with hot tubs, outside seating areas, and brick-built BBQs, perfect for alfresco dining. Guests can immerse themselves in the tranquil surroundings of Oaklands Country Lodges, set amidst one acre of landscaped grounds with a scenic pond and abundant wildlife.
Nestled near the National Forest and the iconic landscapes of the Peak District, Oaklands Lodges boasts a prime location for exploring Derbyshire, Staffordshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire, and Cheshire. Just a stoneâs throw away, discover must-see attractions like Dovedale, Tutbury Castle, and the National Museum of Childhood at Sudbury Hall. Within a short drive, delve into history at Kedleston Hall, explore charming market towns like Ashbourne and Belper, or seek thrills at Alton Towers. Bakewellâs famed pudding, along with the grandeur of Chatsworth House, Shugborough Hall, and Haddon Hall, await within 20 miles.
