Summary:
We are excited to welcome you to The Hive, a stunning two-bedroom, two-bathroom converted mill apartment, located in one of the hottest districts in Manchester, Ancoats. The property is filled with industrial charm and character, paying homage to Manchester’s storied and industrial past. This apartment sleeps up to six guests.
The Space:
KITCHEN & DINING AREA
The spacious, fully equipped kitchen kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. We offer a fridge freezer, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, washer/dryer, Nespresso machine, kettle and toaster, and induction hob.
We also offer complimentary Nespresso capsules, tea, coffee, sugar, milk sachets, oil, and salt & pepper.
There is a six seater dining table perfect for hosting a dinner party or enjoying a meal together with family and friends. This space also offers an excellent workspace for those who may be travelling on business.
BEDROOMS
There are two king-size bedrooms, all fitted with blackout curtains, and large triple wardrobes.
BATHROOMS
There are two bathrooms. The family bathroom features a walk-in rain shower. The master bedroom features a large bath and exposed brickwork. We offer bath and hand towels, as well as complimentary shampoo, conditioner and hand soap.
LIVING AREA
The living area features a 55" smart TV with Sky Cable TV and Netflix and Amazon Prime TV access. The living area also features blackout curtains for those using the sofa-bed.
SOFA BED
The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double sofa-bed. Depending on the booked number of guests on your reservation, you may need to contact our customer service team who are on-hand to arrange a sofa bed set-up, where additional charges may apply. If you’re unsure whether you have a sofa-bed inclusive rate or for full details of our sofa-bed policy, please refer to our terms and conditions.
LOCATION & PARKING
This property is located in Manchester’s city centre district of Ancoats, right across the road (literally) from the Northern Quarter. You can be Manchester’s central bar and retail district within walking distance. There is a public car park located next door on Cable Street - charges may apply.
Guest Access:
Upon booking with us, you will receive access to your personalised Guest Pass. The Guest Pass is powered by Enso Connect – an Airbnb trusted partner. Here you will receive your check-in instructions, Wi-Fi details, local recommendations (& exclusive discounts!) and much more. You will receive a link to your Guest Pass in your booking confirmation message.
In order to protect both the property and you, our valued guest, you must complete either a mandatory deposit authorisation hold of £250 or a £40.00 non-refundable damage waiver (Please note that the Damage Waiver option is not available for bookings placed within 24 hours of check-in, or for stays of 28+ days or more). This can be done on a card of your choosing via the Guest Pass. If you select the deposit authorisation hold, no monies are taken from your card unless damages are caused during your stay, or additional fees are incurred. This may be for things such as late check-out, undeclared guests, and/or extra nights. The deposit authorisation hold is usually released with 1 working day of check-out.
Kindly ensure that your Guest Pass verification and deposit authorisation hold are complete prior to your check-in, as you will not be able to access the apartments until this is complete.

Getting Around:
There is a public car park located on Cable Street - charges may apply. For more details on parking, please refer to your Guest Pass. Your Guest Pass link can be found in your booking confirmation email. Manchester Piccadilly Station is a 5-10 minute taxi away, or a 15-20 minute walk from the apartment. The closest metrolink station is Piccadilly Gardens.
Other Things to Note:
Please note we do not manage the building and cannot be held responsible for any maintenance issues in building communal areas. There is no elevator in this building, you will be required to take the stairs up to the 2nd floor to access the apartment. We ask our guests to kindly respect our neighbours. We also encourage you to read our house rules for full transparency of our terms & conditions prior to booking - these can be found on our website. By booking your stay, you agree to abide to our terms & conditions.
