Cypern för en perfekt semester: Cypern är den tredje största ön i Medelhavet, det är en ö av skönhet och ett land av kontraster. Kallt, tallsklädda berg är en komplett scenbyte efter gyllene solkuststränder. Lugna, tidlösa byar står i slående kontrast till moderna kosmopolitiska städer. Lyxiga hotell på stranden kan bytas ut mot stora delar av naturens oförstörda landskap. Men på Cypern är alla avstånd lätt att hantera, mestadels på moderna vägar och motorvägar - med en sekundär väg eller två för de mer äventyrliga. Somrarna är långa och varma, fruktträd spänner under deras bounty, liksom vinstockarna, vars druvor går ut på att producera några fina lokala viner. Ön har länge varit av stor strategisk betydelse och skryter arv av många av sina ockuperande imperier, befästningar byggda av korsfararna står fortfarande. En semester här är idyllisk, det finns mycket att se och mycket att göra, välkommen är varmt och vädret också.

Lokala Shopping: Del och paket av någon semester är frågan om vad man ska ta hem. Läder är mycket bra värde. Skobutikerna lager aktuella stilar till mycket rimliga priser. Handväskor, resväskor och jackor är en bra affär. Skor och jackor, såväl som mäns kostymer och skjortor, kan skräddarsys inom en vecka eller så. Hantverk flödar på varje shoppinggata. En bra plats att se dem är Cyperns hantverkscenter i Lefkosia, med butiker i varje stad. Små föremål av det distinkt, traditionella keramik gör goda gåvor, och även Cypern kopparvaror och filigran silver. Alltid populär är den vackra Lefkaritika eller Lefkara Lace. Folkweave-, nål- och hakverk, träarbete och korgarbete är några av de saker som besökarna tycker om att ta hem med dem, för att inte tala om Cyperns brandy som kan köpas av demijohn, Commandaria och till och med Halloumi - Cypernsosten.

Golf: Paphos är den nya juvelen i kronan för golfare som söker golfbrott i värmen i östra Medelhavet. Det erbjuder golfare utmanande världsklass mästerskapskurser, varm gästfrihet och nästan året runt solsken. Det finns tre 18-håls golfbanor att välja mellan. Tsada Golf Club, som ligger bara 20 minuter från Paphos stad, 550 meter över havet för att säkerställa snabba vindar under sommarmånaderna. Det spelar till ett par 72 och mäter 660 meter. The Secret Valley Golf Club ligger 18 kilometer öster om Paphos ligger i en vacker dal och erbjuder panoramautsikt. Det spelar till ett par 72 och mäter 6 120 meter. Aphrodite Hills Golf Complex är en unik upplevelse på marknaden. Prisbelönta golfbanan ligger nära Aphrodites födelseort, bara 2 minuter från huvudvägen Limassol-Paphos. Kursen ligger i en fantastisk miljö på 2 platåer, 300 meter höga. Det spelar till ett par 71 och mäter 6,665 meter.

This was our second stay at Faros Court and we still love it. The perfect location for restaurants, the beach and the new walkway down to the harbour, easy shaded parking, comfy bed and sofas, excellent TV package (we didn't use it much but would be great in the Winter months) amazing terrace with stunning views of the sea and sunsets, gas barbecue so easy to cook your steaks and amazing friendly communication with Christine. Seriously, there's nothing not to like. We had the best time!

We had a great stay. We loved the terrace and the view. A fair distance from Paphos harbour but there are plenty of lovely restaurants close by. We hired a car so it was great to have a parking space.

Great location

Great location and outside space definitely sells the apartment . I think more could be done with is space , maybe a rattan sofa set , to watch the sunset from . that said it does have a dining table and sun beds. Short walk to most shops , restaurants etc. I agree with an earlier review the apartment would benefit from some TLC, perhaps a picture or two , a mirror in second bedroom , 2 lamps in the mater bedroom and refresh the linen. The location again is perfect. The apartment has the things you need , just felt a bit unloved

Brilliant apartment

Very good apartment, with terrific views from the very large terrace. Location is excellent for bars and restaurants, and proximity to the beach. This was our second visit to the apartment and we weren’t disappointed. It has everything you need for a nice relaxing holiday. On the negative side we found the stairs a bit challenging on arrival, when having to carry heavy luggage, and after a visit to the supermarket for shopping, another slight negative was some local dog noise (barking) we found quite annoying at times, although it’s not as if it was constant. We wouldn’t let either of these small negatives put us off renting this apartment again. William and Gerty

Stunning patio views

We had a slight issue with the apartment when we arrived. Once we contacted the owner we received a call from the local maintenance company who resolved all the issues promptly and were very professional. We had a great stay.

Great location

Set exactly where we knew it was great location for beach bars harbour etc2 bed property with great huge balcony & uninterrupted views.Aspects of the property could do with some TLC although it did have everything you need.Not so ideal if the weather is wet & dark.. but that I know is rare in Cyprus so took that into consideration.New duvets, pillows, bed linen & towels are a must for 2025 season .Overall a pleasant stay & in summer outdoor balcony space amazing.

Ideally placed holiday apartment.

I can understand why this apartment is very popular as it ideally placed for shops, walks to Paphos Harbour and has an idyllic outlook both at the front and rear of the apartment. It is very well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. We were a bit unfortunate with the weather with some days being cold and wet and the excellent tv package was very much appreciated. I would love to return some day to the apartment but I know it will be difficult because of its popularity.

All you require

Everything you need for a comfortable self catering holiday. A large private sunny terrace with views of the sea. Within walking distance of many bars and restuarants. Excellent in house media entertainment.

Great location. Lovely clean apartment. Very well organised with instruction manuals and information for everything. Very fortunate to meet the owners as we were already in Paphos who showed us around the apartment before our stay. The apartment was equipped with all the appliances as advertised

Great location and fantastic views

Great well equipped apartment, located in a quiet residential block away tucked away behind Tomb Of The Kings Road. A short easy walk down to the beach and local bars, shops and restaurants. Although a bit dated in decor, it was very well equipped, everything worked well and there was all you need to have a great holiday. We only used the main bed, which was very comfortable and had a brand new mattress. TV had hundreds of channels from all around the world and the internet was a good speed as well. Communication from the owner and agent was excellent. Only slight gripe was that it was a bit tricky to get the shower temperature right, as it is not a thermostatic mixer. Also, just have to be aware that it is located on the second floor with no lift, so unsuitable for anyone with limited mobility. All in all, we found it to be perfect for our needs and the price to be reasonable. Thank you.

Excellent stay

Great communication with owner. Apartment 5 minutes away from bars/restaurants and 20 minutes walk to port and other bar restaurant area. Apartment had everything we needed and balcony is huge and gets sun all day and overlooks the sea.

Apartment with an amazing view!

This was our second stay in the apartment. It is spacious inside and out! The view of the sea is lovely from the huge terrace! The location is great for the harbour, beach and restaurants which are all nearby! We would stay again.

GREAT LOCATION / MASSIVE BALCONY

A very relaxing week away in this lovely apartment. It is a large property for an apartment, with a great massive south facing balancy with a lovely view. Like others have said 2 minutes walk away from the Tomb of the Kings Road and the same from the beach and great coastal path for those lovely strolls. We did have a car as we like to eat away from the resort however you don't need a car for this property. The only negitive I would say is like another customer has already stated, there was no cleaning materials, which for the price you might think they would be, we left a new micro fibre dish cloth, nearly a full bottle of washing up liquid, surface cleaner for the kitchen top, and full saop dispensor in the bathroom, a little touch like that make a lot of difference. Communications with the owner was great with the most detailed instructions to get to and how to operate items within the property. We would recommend this property and return.

Verblijf in Paphos

Leuk appartement met een prachtig uitzicht op het balkon. Perfecte ligging. Winkels, bars, restaurants op wandelafstand. Map met uitleg verdient een 10 op10. Alles heel duidelijk uitgelegd. (proficiat hiervoor) Inkomhal was wel niet opgekuist.

Winter break

The communication with the owner and property manager were excellent. The arrival instructions were very clear as were the house instructions. The apartment itself was excellently situated being just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and the coastal boardwalk that stretches fo miles in both directions. The apartment itself was clean and well equipped with excellent information about all the appliances, heating and air conditioning. The outdoor space was fabulous with open views to the sea Overall we have no hesitation in recommending the apartment for a stay in a quieter area of Paphos but within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants.

Booked for a reset after a challenging year, appartment was lovely and relaxing, spent more time there as was let down by the weather a couple of days and found it very nice to watch the world go by on the balcony

A centrally based, relaxing stay.

We have never been into such a well equipped apartment. It was positioned ideally between the hotel and tourist areas. The view from the balcony was magnificent, although we had little time to spend there as we were arriving back from days out, as the sun was setting. The apartment made a wonderful base for the organised trips we undertook into the 'real' Cyprus. As we did not hire a car, there were plenty of areas and walks that we could enjoy. Not a criticism but we make a suggestion that it would been good have a cleaning product and cloths available. As we were in the apartment for 3 weeks, we needed to purchase materials to clean. Overall a lovely base to provide a memorable and happy holiday. Thank you Christine for your help, advice and provision of such a superb apartment for us!

Paphos oasis!

We had an amazing time at christine's apartment. It us oerfecrly situated. Literally a 2 minute walk to Tomb of the Kings Road where there are loads od pubs and restaurants to choose from. The balcony area is massive and very private and the sea view is amazing. To be able to sit and watch the sunset every night was just perfect. Check in was so simple as christine gives you a full run down with pictures of what to do and where to go - this was veryy helpful as we arrived late in the evening and very tired!! Overall the place was just lovely and we will be back 🙂

Perfect!

Had a fantastic week in this lovely apartment. Everything was perfect. Powerful shower, comfy bed, loved the Nespresso machine (now we want one at home) short walk to loads of great restaurants, great gas barbecue and the icing on the cake at the end of every day was the amazing sun set. If you arrive late at night like we did, the 24 hour bakery a short walk away has everything you'll need to tide you over till you can go shopping. If it's good enough for the local police officers to have their coffee and cake there at 1am, it's good enough for us! First class service from Christine. Extremely helpful and the access info and directions were spot on. We will be back!
