This stylish, 3-floor apartment sleeps 7 people and is an ideal holiday destination all year round. In a quiet village, but close to all the action in Sestriere, it would suit a family or group of friends looking for an action-packed holiday in this beautiful part of the Italian Alps.
The apartment is cosy and beautifully decorated, with lots of character. The owners have taken a great deal of care to ensure that their guests have a comfortable stay. The first floor has a dramatic, double-height seating area with a sofa, flat-screen TV, antique furniture and a glass door that leads out to a private balcony. The balcony has a panoramic view down the valley to the mountains beyond. Back inside, the open-plan seating area leads to the kitchen/diner. There is a dining table for 8 people next to the fitted kitchen, with attractive wooden cabinets. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge/freezer. A glass door opens onto a small wooden balcony.
Timber stairs lead up from the living area to the bedrooms on the mezzanine level and the third floor.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom is furnished with a charming king-size antique bed and a wardrobe. It has an en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom also has a king-size double bed, with a single bed, a flat-screen TV and a wardrobe.
Bedroom 3: On the mezzanine level this cosy bedroom has a split bunk bed, a desk and a wooden wardrobe.

Location
The apartment is in the heart of the charming village of Grangesises, just a 5-minute drive from the resort of Sestriere. The surrounding landscape is absolutely stunning all year round. Grangesises is largely pedestrian, making it ideal for children and families. There are a couple of pizzerias and cafés in the village but visitors will need to go to Sestriere for other amenities.
Sestriere has a lot to offer. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing.
Summer visitors can go hiking in through the forests and alpine meadows. There are numerous tracks for mountain biking at all levels, as well as tennis, golf and swimming. The area also hosts many festivals and events for all ages, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings. There are many great restaurants and bars in Sestriere, which will suit all tastes and budgets in the area. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities.
Turin airport is a 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from the apartment.
