Emerald Island Resort

The luxurious resort of Emerald Island Resort is set just off HWY 192 in Kissimmee Florida and minutes from Disney World, Orlando, making it the ideal place to explore all that the Orlando theme parks have to offer. The resort stands in 300 acres of conversation woodlands & lakes, making it a true 'land island'. There are two community swimming pools & a hot tub, sun loungers & a pool Tiki bar within the exclusive Club House. For people wanting to keep active whilst on vacation there is a fully equipped gym/exercise room, sauna and nature trail. Should you want to play even more games there is a games area/arcade room. Concierge staff services, internet, ATM are available at the Club House. Outdoors you will find a tennis court, sand volley ball, basket ball courts and kids play areas, all free to guests staying on property.

When you have finished relaxing at your villa and are ready for action, Orlando is the place to be with all the Disney World theme parks as well as SeaWorld, Universal Studios only minutes away. In the summer months why not visit the some of Orlando's water parks like Disney's Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach, Wet n Wild located on International Drive or the newly opened Legoland Florida water park in Winter Haven.

As well as being within 20 minutes of all the Orlando theme parks, within 5 minutes drive you have access to over 50 different restaurants from TGI's Fridays, Bahama Breeze, Longhorn Steakhouse, Applebee's, Millers Ale House, Logan's Roadhouse, Bonefish Grill, Red Lobster a number of pizza parlours, there are also the usual fast food restaurants like McDonalds, Burger King and Taco Bell.

If shopping is your thing then whilst staying on Emerald Island Resort why not visit one of the nearby malls. Three of the best are the Florida Mall which has all the big department stores (Macy's, Dillards, JC Penny, Nordstorm).

Next is the Orlando Premium Outlets where everything is on sale all the time and you can get some amazing bargains. Lastly is The Mall at Millenia which has all the high end brands like Tiffany & Co, Apple, Breitling, Coach, Rolex, Burberry, Cartier and many more.

The Mall at Millennia also has some of the best restaurants in Orlando like The Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang's and Brio Tuscan Grille so why not head there for an early dinner and late night shopping.
