Among the most beautiful views in the world, peace of mind and absolute silence: 210 steps to Casa Punta di Diamante make all this possible! A few steps from the famous Path of the Gods and 10 minutes from the center of Praiano, Casa Punta di Diamante is a modern, independent, fresh house with a Mediterranean charm. The three large bedrooms, the spacious living room and kitchen, the three bathrooms with shower, make the spaces comfortable for a family or for three couples. Recently and finely restored, the exterior is characterized by a large furnished garden of 200 square meters, equipped with an outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and solarium area. The two terraces exposed to the sun until sunset frame the enchanting views: the highest terrace, with a panoramic view of Capri and Positano, is the pride of the house! Wi-Fi, heating system and air conditioning are available throughout the house.

The structure is organized on four levels:
- Large 200 m2 furnished garden with equipped outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and solarium.
- Outdoor terrace overlooking the sea, table for "al fresco" dining and outdoor sofa - accessible from the dining area;
- Sun terrace, with sea view, accessible from the master double bedroom.
- Large balcony with open view of Positano and Capri - accessible from the two bedrooms;
- Large dining area with open kitchen (fully equipped) with table for 6 people and access to the front terrace;
- Double bedroom, sea view, with access to the small balcony in front and to the sun terrace - with en-suite bathroom
- Double bedroom and single bed, with bathroom opposite
- Double bedroom, with access to the small balcony in front - with en-suite bathroom

Casa Punta di Diamante is located at the highest point of Praiano, west side, on one of the paths that lead to the Path of the Gods. To reach the house it is necessary to travel about 200 stopovers. It is not recommended for people with walking problems or for those who don't like stairs! Baggage service is offered upon arrival (one bag per person - service for all bags is possible for a fee). Baggage service can be booked, for a fee, upon departure. It is possible to park on the street, but it may not be easy to find parking in the summer. We recommend to reach us with a private driver.

The town center is not far away. A few minutes walk there are:

This is a wonderful place.

Beautiful Property and View

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Praiano, we hated to leave. The location and view of the house were indeed as described... including the 200 steps leading to the house. For those with weak legs be mindful of the task of accessing the house as it's certainly a trek up. My husband and I considered ourselves to be in great shape and walking up those steps kicked our ass each time, yet we thought it was brilliant. One should also keep in mind that the accessing the town below is also a little bit of a hike, but worth it. It was a great little town with good food and people. Loved it there!

Stunning views from the comfort of excellent accommodation.

First the excellent. Views from this property are stunning, there are various viewpoints be that on one of the many balconiesperhaps from the pool, simply breathtaking. The properties location allowed us to spend time in the beautiful town of Praiano ( The property was clean, well maintained and comfortable. The challenge of course is the steps up to the property, if you are reasonably fit and injury free these shouldn’t be a problem. We always found the management company helpful and it was easy to communicate with them via WhatsApp, they always replied promptly. We often called upon them to organise taxis. Would overall recommend this property for a memorable trip.

Dangerous Inaccessible Property

This property should not be allowed to the public. There are over 200 extremely steep steps to access this property and the majority of the steps do not have hand rails. We booked this property for five nights and had to check out after our third night. Our son was in a great deal of pain and could no longer make it up and down the steps. We informed the property manager and they refused to issue a credit for the remaining two nights that we didn’t use. We have a video of the steps leading up to the home should you wish to view. This home is a hazard and much too dangerous to keep on VRBO. Please do not hesitate to contact me directly with any questions or if you need any additional information. Respectfully, Marc

Stay in Praiano

Host was very responsive and the place was overall nice. We enjoyed our time here but we had a few issues. - The stairs were steep and rough though. If it were just the 206 stairs from the street to the villa it probably would have been ok, but the entire area is essentially uphill. To get to the street the villa is even on from the Main Street, it’s 397 steep stairs. So from the Main Street to this villa is 600+ stairs. Your other option is walk the uphill winding roads, but it takes awhile. It is not easy to get on-the-fly transportation in this city. I would suggest renting scooters/vespas as it makes things easier, but we had a group of 7 and some weren’t comfortable driving them on the tight streets so it was tough. - Another issue we had was ants. There were a fair amount in the downstairs bedroom, as well as a ton near the pool. The lounge chairs weren’t usable as ants would always get you. - we had the shower drain drain too slowly in the main bathroom and flooded the floor

Wonderful Stay in Punta di Diamante!

My partner and I stayed in casa Punta di Diamante for 5 days. The casa was very clean upon arrival, even some fresh cold water in the fridge. Big compliment for the decoration of the house, it made the villa really cozy and we felt at home right away. We were amazed by the view and switched terraces during the day. Breakfast in the garden with a full view at Positano, afternoons on the sunbeds at the pool with a stunning view over the ocean, and evenings at the kitchenbedroom balcony with a full view at Praiano. The bed was really comfortable, we liked the shutters making the bedroom dark so we could sleep in. We brought a lot of clothes and shoes with us and there was more than enough storage space and clothes hangers. If you know about the stairs, it isn’t a problem at all. My husband is a runner, and he loved the challenge to run through the village, all the stairs and path of the gods. I’m 6 months pregnant so once a day climbing the stairs was enough for me, but doable. The amazing view and the beautiful streets of Praiano makes up for it. Praiano has enough options for restaurants, would recommend KM0, La Moressa and Kasai for dinner/lunch and the beach for cocktails. The kitchen is well equipped if you would like to cook. Special thanks to Francesco for his quick response whenever we had a question.

Devistating view. Killer stairs.

The view is unbearable from this property. Spacious and comfortable once you climb from the street. We were very happy and the host was very kind and responsive to our needs and requests. The property description describes the place as 200 some steps from the street. This is accurate, but be prepared for uphill uneven stair steps. This equals climbing a 14 story high-rise building every time you leave or come home. Additionally, to get places in town is a long walk with many time the number of stairs steps. One can walk to part of the town on switchback roads. But, to go from the home to the main town by sea is many many times 14 stories of steps. Only a week conditioned athlete could walk to the home from the main town as it is all uphill stairs. Last, I don't recommend driving in high season. We were there in May just before peak tourist season and had great difficulty finding legal parking. The private parking spot offered is more than a half a mile away and a long walk up, before the 200 stairs. It didn't work for us. I'm the end, a great place with a killer view. Wonderful hosts. But, arduous walking on steps. You'll need to be in very good physical condition. But, I didn't gain weight!
