Orange Blossom Stuga i Historic McIntosh

Orange Blossom Cottage är ett charmigt hem i historiska McIntosh, som ligger i ett grannområde omgivet av höga ekar och hem byggda på 1800-talet. McIntosh är hem för flera antikaffärer, vackra Van Ness Park och McIntosh 1890-talets festival. Och för dig fiskare och kvinnor är Orange Lake 12550 hektar av paradiset. Med många platser att starta ditt fartyg är du tvungen att hitta den perfekta fiskeplatsen.

Två sovrum, ett badrum. Vardagsrum, kök, matplats och solrum.

WiFi. TV med DVD-spelare. Vid denna tid ingen kabel.

Kök utrustat med kylskåp i full storlek och elektrisk spis / ugn. Kaffebryggare, mikrovågsugn, köksredskap, köksredskap. Tyvärr ingen diskmaskin.

20 minuter till UF, Shands sjukhus, VA sjukhus. Gainesville är hem till University of Florida och Fighting Gators .... som har en fantastisk säsong i år !! Gainesville har också Florida Museum of Natural History, Butterfly Rainforest och Harn Museum of Art.

25 minuter till Downtown Ocala.
5 kvarter från Orange Lake.

Historiska Micanopy ligger 7 kilometer bort. Röstade den sötaste staden i USA, med dussintals antikaffärer, flera restauranger och massor av gammal Florida-charm. I oktober är Micanopy värd för Micanopy Fall Harvest Festival ... konst, hantverk, musik, antikviteter, mat ... en hel dag med kul!

Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park ligger 8 kilometer bort. Vandring, ett 50 fot observationstorn, vilda hästar, bison och ett museum.

Det finns många källor, sjöar och floder inom 45 minuters bilresa, både norr och söder om McIntosh. Några så nära som en mil eller två. Simning, kajakpaddling, paddling, fiske och vandring är populära aktiviteter i vårt område. Det finns platser att hyra utrustning, några precis vid vattnet, vilket gör det enkelt att ha kul!

Orange Blossom Cottage är perfekt för spel helger, examen helger eller bara en gammal Florida getaway. Kom och besök McIntosh, och upplev en liten bit av avslappnad Florida!

Great place

Was a great little place, the kitchen had everything we needed, the bed was very comfortable and the place was very clean. Nice little neighborhood. The grocery store was 20 minutes away in Gainesville.

Quaint cottage

Booking this property in McIntosh was a great idea for the UM v. UF weekend. We were 20 minutes from the campus and it was very easy to find. The place was comfortable and clean and 5 minutes from the Payne Prairie Preserve State Park. We did not spend much time in the house but it was just right for what we needed.

The Orange Blossom Cottage is very much Old Florida, which I love. The location was perfect for my needs. The hosts are top notch and very attentive to anything a guest might need. I definitely will book this property again!

Home Away from Home

Although our trip was short we felt very at home! The house and area were exceptional. We had everything we needed to get by. It was located close enough to Gainesville but secluded enough to feel like we were country living. Enjoyed sitting on the front porch in the evening listening to the rain and all the critters. Check in/out was a breeze. The hosts Rusty and Alexandra were helpful when we locked the keys in the house. Rusty was there within 5 mins to let us in. There is not one thing I can complain about! Looking forward to staying there again in the future!!

What a gem!

We stayed for Gator football weekend. What a great home. It was cozy, clean and very convenient to Gainesville. We walked the neighborhood one evening and there are lovely churches and homes nearby.

Always Lovely

Love this cute old cottage that has been updated. The ambiance is so perfect, reminds me of my great-grandmothers home in the country. Quiet old Florida withth 100 year old churches, huge vintage oaks, and Sandhill Cranes roaming the yards. And of course the Orange tree in the front yard. Thank you for our 3rd stay and looking forward to the next.

The Charming Orange Cottage

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Orange Cottage. We will certainly will return. We enjoyed our days exploring the surrounding quaint little towns with their antique shops and stores by day. Then relaxed on the cottages porch at night listening to nature. The cottage was the perfect place for us to unwind. I can honestly say it was the most relaxing vacation ever.

Comfortable, well equipped home

This 2BR, 1B, home has plenty of lounging space and all the basic kitchen equipment. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. McIntosh is a very small town, with many beautiful live oaks along the streets. There is a decent grocery store just a couple of blocks away and it is only about a 20 min drive to Gainesville.

Comfortable and clean

Really enjoyed staying in this small house in a quiet neighborhood close to Micanopy and Gainesville. The house was very clean and communication and check in were great. The bed in the back bedroom is very comfortable. The only downside was the v slow drain in the tub/shower but hopefully that has been fixed by now. Lost one star for that.
