From the tree-lined streets and independent shops to the friendly faces in every cafĂ©, Wanstead offers a real sense of community thatâs hard to find elsewhere in the city.
I love how connected it isâyou can be in Central London in under 25 minutes, yet still come home to peace, greenery, and a slower pace of life. The high street is always buzzing with local energy, whether itâs the weekend market, a pop-up event, or just people enjoying brunch in the sun.
What makes it extra special to me are the beautiful green spaces. Wanstead Park is one of my favourite spotsâitâs perfect for a morning walk, a family picnic, or simply getting some fresh air. Thereâs a calmness here that makes you instantly feel at ease.
Whether youâre visiting for a few days or staying a while, I hope youâll fall in love with Wanstead just like I did.
