This semi-detached 200-year-old stone-built cottage is simply stunning and is everything you would want from a self-catering holiday home. Dating back to the 1800s, Home Cottage has been given the love and attention it deserves and still retains its sense of history and offers a real home from home feel. The cottage itself is just a short drive from the famed Castle Howard with its fabulous grounds making a great place for a family day out with various activities available to keep everyone entertained. Entrance is gained into the comfortable living room which is complete with a stunning wood burner adding extra charm and additional heat, giving a great place to snuggle up in front of the fire on those colder evenings with a glass or two of red wine. The country style kitchen which is fully equipped for all your culinary needs. Hovingham is a beautiful village set on the edge of The Howardian Hills situated close to Castle Howard and easy reach to the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and the stunning North Yorkshire Coast meaning you have quick access to many scenic walks and fantastic bike trails.
