Leaving the airport take the dual carriageway in the direction of Funchal (road known as the Via Rápida).
Take exit number 12 marked “Funchal Campo da Barca”.
This exit takes you into a loop passing under the road and to a T-juntion with a set of
traffic lights.
Turn left at the traffic lights, keeping to your right, and after just a few meters turn right to “Funchal Pena”
Instead of following the road down turn IMMEDIATELY LEFT and head up the hill (see blue
sign for Estalagem do Monte)
Head up this steep winding road for approximately 500 metres travelling underneath the cable car.
Take the 2nd Road on Your Left, signposted “Estrada do Livramento” follow along for 1,1km metres.
Please turn righ onto Caminho da Longueira, then on the first junction turn left and keep driving up the hill until you find number 22 on your right hand side. You have a reserved parking space in the garage.This is a shared parking with the other villa, so please ensure you park in the allotted space and as far back as possible.Under any circumstances do not park near or on the access to the garage or outside the gate, as will obstruct the access to the parking space of the other house. You MUST ALWAYS REVERSE your car down the ramp into the garage as it will be easier for you when you leave. There is no space to turn the car around in the garage. If you do not feel comfortable doing this, it is always possible to park in the street further up.
