Location was good but there was only one mirror for the entire apartment and that was in the bathroom. Also the cleaning could have been much better. Noticed stains on sheets and floors and all. The water heating system is a bit complicated and host didn’t give any instructions on that so made it a bit confusing. Some essential toiletries were also missing. I’m not sure I’ll stay here again next time I’m in Scotland.

The apartment was fine. It was clean. And the location was great. But it was also frustrating. The bathroom soap container was empty, so we had to buy soap. There is no freezer, which we only discovered after buying frozen food. There is a giant TV in the living room which we might have gathered around, except the furniture is incredibly uncomfortable and not welcoming at all. Finally, the bedroom by the front door had no bottom sheet, only a top sheet. So, after one night of sleep the mattress was completely uncovered.
