Great location close to the Acropolis Museum. You can see the Acropolis from the apartment balcony and street! Apt has wifi, AC, washer, clothes drying rack, microwave and dishwasher, as well as towels and toiletries. Quiet building with elevator. Very responsive host. Breakfast places and restaurants close by. Convenience store (Kiosky's) across the street. Host arranged airport pickup (additional cost) and early check-in (no additional cost).
Note: For taxis, best to use either Kiosky's Acropolis or Herodian Hotel as pickup and drop off locations. Otherwise, because apt is on one-way street, taxis loop around to reach it, which is an unnecessary waste of time and money.
Overall, highly recommend.
Four caveats:
(1) Water heater must be turned on 30 minutes beforehand and provides enough hot water for just two people to take quick showers; if a third person is showering, heater must be turned on again for another half hour. Also, heated cylinder in shower gets super hot; be very careful to not brush up against it or touch it.
(2) Shower gel and shampoo packets provided are inadequate, especially if three people are staying in the apt. Best to bring your own.
(3) Sofa bed for third person is hard and not comfortable. But, sofa beds rarely are.
(4) Apt is clean, but not spotless. Cleaners had missed or had not done a thorough job in some areas of the apt. Not dirty, which would've been a definite dealbreaker, but a few noticeably missed spots.
