With a village pub and shop just minutes away, a stunning sandy beach less than 10 miles off, and plenty of cycling routes nearby, it offers a wonderful base for exploring Norfolk. Violet Lodge includes a cosy kitchen, dining area, lounge, and a large garden to unwind in.

The Space:
The living area centres around two comfortable armchairs and a flat-screen TV, with board games and books for entertainment. Double doors lead to the patio and garden, filling the space with natural light and beautiful views.

The fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, utensils, a dishwasher, and a washer/dryer. A cosy dining table for two is perfect for meals or quick breakfasts before exploring.

The spacious bedroom features a king-sized bed with bedside cabinets and reading lamps for a restful sleep, complemented by a large mirror that enhances the airy atmosphere.

The modern bathroom is accessible and includes a shower, W/C, and wash basin.

Double doors from the lounge open to a patio with an outdoor table and chairs for two, ideal for enjoying the tranquil setting. The spacious lawned garden is perfect for relaxation and soaking in the peaceful surroundings.

Hoveton is a small village situated about 8 miles northeast of Norwich, making it easily accessible from the city while offering a peaceful escape in the countryside.
This is a pleasant, green area within the village, surrounded by local amenities and offering a quintessential village charm.

Located just outside the village, Hoveton Hall Gardens is a stunning estate open to the public from spring to autumn. Visitors can explore beautiful gardens, including a walled garden, woodland walks, and lakeside trails. During the summer months, the estate often hosts special events like outdoor theatre performances and garden festivals.

The location of Hoveton means you are in easy reach of the Norfolk Broads National Park, one of the most popular destinations in the region. The Broads are a series of navigable rivers and lakes (broads), offering stunning natural landscapes and abundant wildlife.

The Bure Valley Railway is a narrow-gauge steam railway that runs between Wroxham and Aylsham. It’s a charming 9-mile ride through the Norfolk countryside and perfect for families, rail enthusiasts, or anyone who wants a relaxing experience. At Aylsham, there’s a market town to explore before returning to Wroxham.

Norwich, just a short drive or train journey from Hoveton, offers a vibrant city experience, with its historic castle, cathedral, medieval streets, and modern shopping centers.
