Casa Relator. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms
Sevillian town-house with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living-dining room and kitchen. It is centrally located at Calle Relator, close to Alameda de Hércules. There are markets, shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, squares, churches - all within minutes of walking distance. Suitable for up to 6 guests.
The house maintains many traditional architectural features, such as exposed brick and plaster walls, floor tiles, high ceilings and wooden beams, and yet offers classic modern comfort. The entrance is through a central patio.
The living room features 2 julienne balconies facing Relator street. It is furnished with sofa, dining table and chairs. Note the dining area is suitable for 4 people only. (If you need ample dining space for 6, do not book this property.) The kitchen forms part of the living area and is equipped with utensils and appliances for cooking. The washing machine is underneath the stairway of the patio.
The 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are arranged over the first and second floors of the house and comprise: 2 double bedrooms with a Queen size bed (150x200cm); 1 spacious suite-like bedroom with a Queen size bed (150x200cm), living space and own kitchen. The two bathrooms have both a shower, washbasin and toilet.
On the roof-top there are lines to dry clothes. You may use this space for sitting outside, but we do not consider it a regular terrace because of its size, and the inclination of the floor, which makes it impossible to install a parasol. Many guests do use the terrace, but we want to avoid that your expectations are too high. There is seating for 2 people, but no loungers and no shadow.
Have a close look at the floor-plan, which is the last of the photos. You can see that both floors are very similar, except for the dining table which is missing on the second floor. Note that both floors are completelly separated from the staircase. For this reason, we think, the house is very indicated for two couples, who want to have their separate spaces, including bathroom and kitchenette. The distribution of the house comes very close to having two apartments. The only possible shortcoming is the noise insulation of the woodden ceiling, between second and first floor. In case you are interested in the technical specs: the ceiling is built with beams, planks, a layer of mortar, and tiles. Better than a cottage ceiling, but not to the standard of a modern concrete ceiling ;)
