Bask in the sunshine and watch the boats go up and down the River Torridge from this modern cottage in Bideford. Sleeping four guests, and welcoming dogs, the two-bedroom property is an excellent choice for small families and friends looking for a Devon break. Pick up the South West Coast Path from right beside the holiday hideaway. Spend time on the sandy beach at Westward Ho! or explore charming Appledore, both 3 miles away.
Rub sandy paws under the covered porch and make your way into your Devon retreat. Head into the kitchen, which has been creatively designed to offer all the appliances and equipment you will need during your stay. Unpack any fresh provisions you have bought at the market in Bideford. Put the kettle on to make a cup of tea to enjoy with the freshly baked scones and Devon cream you have bought. Carry this through to the lounge/diner to enjoy at the table or on the plump sofas in front of the Smart TV in the lounge/diner. Dine in here at the table together then have coffee in the sunroom afterwards, taking in the riverside views, with the French doors open on summer days. There is also a WC downstairs. Wander up to the first floor as the day draws to a close. Here you will find your king-size and twin bedrooms, together with the family shower room. Savour the fresh air from the bench to the front of the house or unwind out in the enclosed, courtyard garden with its river views. This cottage has off-road parking for two cars.
Explore Bideford, with its shops, eateries and pannier market. Hire bicycles and follow a section of the largely traffic-free Tarka Trail. Take the children to the Big Sheep Farm and Theme Park, 3 miles away.
