Family-friendly villa set on a private 5,000 sqm (1.25 acre) estate (aka The Gorge) with all amenities for a relaxed stay - 2 mins drive from the most kids-friendly Mykonos beach, 10 mins from the airport (and top-tier grocery store), a dozen pristine beaches (plus hearty tavernas and upscale beach restaurants) are within a 20 min drive radius, 15 mins from Mykonos town, 10 mins from Ano Mera village. Lounge by the pool or in the sun-protected areas, play tennis, shoot some basketball hoops, break a sweat in the mini gym, have a sun yoga session, get creative in the mini art studio, stream a movie on the projector, relax in the well-stocked library area, cook away on the BBQ under the stars, play board games while exploring the vinyl record collection, go for a trek around the natural gorge, feed the donkeys of the nearby farm, watch the sun rise from behind the Agrari rock boulders - all from the comfort of a well-located, well-stocked villa in the premium south part of Mykonos island. Enjoy swimming and watersports on Agrari beach - followed by traditional local food at the beach restaurant and a cocktail at the 80s-inspired cocktail beach bar. Other amenities include fast internet (two subscriptions incl. Starlink connection), small office desk with sea view, fully equipped kitchen and pantry, a/c, heating and ceiling fans, parking area for 3-4 cars, hammock & hanging chair, tennis racquets and balls, basketballs (adult and kids size), beach racquets and pool/beach toys, beach towels. Our housekeepers/caretakers are Mykonian locals, live on the island all-year round and can also provide concierge services.
The property has been hosting families and groups for the past 7 years and is new to Vrbo - it has a 5-star rating on the other main rental property site. Key areas and amenities have been refurbished this past summer. It can comfortably host up to 12 persons including children (of which up to 10 adults).
There are 5 bedrooms in the property. Two of them are ensuite double bedrooms (one on the ground floor, one on the top floor); the one on the top floor has a majestic sea view. There is an additional double bedroom on the ground floor with sea view (and a small office desk) - with separate bathroom that is shared with the fourth bedroom (also with sea view) which has two single beds (for kids/ teenagers) and a hanging chair. There is an additional WC on the ground floor. Finally, there is a double room on the lower ground floor that is accessed via a separate entrance; it has an adjacent bathroom - this room offers extra privacy and is often used by teenagers, a nanny or a couple. There are two indoor lounge areas (a library area with confy armchairs and the main living room area with sofas and a breakfast table), a fully equipped kitchen connected to the main living room and a separate mini art studio. In the outdoor areas, there is a large shaded poolside pergola where the main dining tables are situated (the larger one fits 10-12 people), a poolside deck/sunbathing area with sun loungers for 6 persons, a shaded lounge area under the deck featuring a sofa, a games table and a small hammock, a shaded mini-gym and an open air sun yoga area. The Webber BBQ station is situated poolside, close to the shaded pergola/ dining area. Also on the estate and next to the private parking lot is the full-size, floodlit tennis and basketball court.

We are a Greek & Swedish couple with young kids, living in London. We have been Mykonos regulars since the 90s and residents for the past decade.
Varför värden valde detta boende
Our estate is in striking distance of everything that Mykonos has to offer, but still quiet in the evening allowing for relaxation and serenity after big days out. The rocky landscape of Agrari is just unique in the island and the sandy beach of Agrari one of the best in the Aegean.
Vad som gör detta boende unikt
The property allows a family or two families and friends to holiday together in one villa, while still enjoying good privacy (as there is good level of distance with other villas in the area - and as the villa's rooms have decent distance from each other). The high-quality traditional Cycladic craftmanship and construction with thick walls ensures good natural temperature regulation without need of a/c (although two rooms have powerful a/c units and all rooms are fitted with ceiling fans). The sports and lounging facilities, including a regulation-size tennis & basketball court are unique in the island.
