Our village house is located in the medieval part of Tourtour. A village full of character, coziness and atmosphere. During your stay you have the entire house, including patio, at your disposal.

The house is within walking distance of various restaurants, bars and shops. There is a small supermarket with bakery in the village.
Suitable for 4 people and a maximum of 3 dogs.

Ground floor (living room & hall)
Upon entering you enter the hall. On your left you will find a staircase that leads to the first floor. Straight ahead you will find a cozy lounge with sitting area and television, with Netflix. You will also find the outdoor furniture here, which you can place outside yourself.

Kitchen
As you walk up the stairs, the lights on sensor jump on to show you the way. On the first floor you will find the unique Provencal kitchen, expanded with modern conveniences. A place to get together, cook, have a drink and laugh.
In the kitchen you will find a stove (double oven and induction hob), fridge with freezer and a dishwasher. We will make sure that there is a supply of dishwasher tablets ready for you. There is also a wide range of crockery and kitchen utensils. On the other side of the kitchen you will find the coffee bar, equipped with coffee & tea.

First bedroom
From the kitchen a staircase leads up to the second floor. Here you will find a bedroom with a king-size bed (160cm wide). In the bedside table on the right you will find extra chargers (in case you forgot yours).

Bathroom
Through a short hallway you enter the comfortable bathroom with washbasin, shower and toilet from the first bedroom. In both bedrooms there is a basket with towels. - Toilet;

Second bedroom
On the top floor you will find the honeymoon suite. This bedroom has a freestanding bath, a fireplace (not functional) and a queen-size bed (160cm wide). You will also find a desk here, which can be used as a home office.
From this top bedroom you have an overwhelming view over part of the village and the hills behind it. In the distance you can see the olive castle, in the middle of the olive trees. In the evening you can see the most impressive sunsets here.

Patio
At the back of the house is a small terrace. You can place the outdoor furniture here, which is in the living room. It is usually very shady here, which makes it wonderful for long and sultry summer evenings. In the summer you will see wall geckos on the walls and lanterns.

Additional information
You reach the cottage via an alley in the medieval part of Tourtour. In the low season you can park your car about 100 meters away. In the high season the village is car-free and you can park your car about 250 meters away. In Tourtour you can park for free all year round.
The cottage is not accessible for people with walking difficulties. There are 3 staircases in the cottage from the medieval period. Not all steps are the same height and not every step is the same size.
To get to the bathroom and the top bedroom, you have to go through the first bedroom.
Each room has electric heating. There is a smoke and heat detector on each floor. WiFi is available throughout the house. Unfortunately, the connection is not very strong.
A maximum of 3 dogs are allowed in the home.

Tourtour
Tourtour is located in Provence in France. The village is bustling in the summer. There are often events and live music. In addition, many shops and art galleries are open. In the area you can go for beautiful walks, cycling or touring by car/motorcycle.
There are bi-weekly markets in Tourtour. In addition, there are often antique, pottery and other markets.
There are several restaurants, a bar, an ice cream parlour and a small supermarket with bakery in the village. All within walking distance of the house.
The village has a medieval centre and is home to many authentic and historical details. The village has no fewer than 3 castles, 7 fountains and a lavoir. Informative tours are organised by the tourist office and there are information brochures available.

Provence
The immediate vicinity of Tourtour has a lot to offer. You are approximately 35 kilometres away from the Lac de Sainte Croix and 50 kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea. In addition, there are many villages and sights around Tourtour that are worth discovering, for example:

- The cozy markets of Aups & Salernes;
- The waterfalls of Sillans-la-Cascade;
- The beautiful village of Cotignac;
