Poor Stay and Poor Management
Our stay in this London flat has not been a good experience. While the first 3 nights were okay, here is what has happened since:1. On the 4th night of our stay, the guests staying upstairs locked us out and no one could help us. We stranded out in the cold with an 8 year old. We had to rent motel rooms for the night. The hosts eventually got my messages in the morning and were able to contact the guests upstairs and had them unlock the door. We had to pay elsewhere to spend a night for which we had already paid for. Unacceptable!2. On the 5th and final night of our stay, we were able to get back into the property after a day out. But when we got back, there was no power in any of the outlets and none of the appliances were working. We could not charge our phones, the food we had in the fridge had gone bad and one of the guests had to spend a second night without being apple to use his CPAP machine.This is a very poor showing by VrBO and the hosts. I fully expected to be compensated and reimbursed for what I have had to go through.I will send you invoices and receipts of the motel stay and other expenses, I want those expenses fully reimbursed. I want the one night refunded to me as well. Furthermore, I expect VRBo to provide additional compensation for the inconvenience of one of the guests having to put his health at risk by not having access to/not being able to use his CPAP machine.All in all a very frustrating experience.
