Lovely experience

Beautiful house in a residential setting. Local shops with easy access to the A406.House was as described and very comfortable. Would definitely book again.

Disappointed

I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment regarding the condition and experience at the VRBO property we recently rented, which was meant to provide a comfortable and reliable stay for three adults and three minors during a sensitive time — a funeral.Upon our arrival, we were immediately faced with several unacceptable issues, which include but are not limited to:· The ground-floor bathroom toilet was leaking, and the shower door was completely off its hinges.· The bathroom on the first floor was also leaking.· The bedroom with the balcony had no key to access the balcony doors.· There were pre-existing stains on the stairs — which we did not cause.· The dining room flooring had visible water stains in multiple areas, particularly near the radiator.· The washer door was loose and appeared damaged.· The garden had a fence panel that was broken and laying on the ground, which is highly impractical and unsafe.· The first-floor bedroom has see-through net curtains and no heavy curtains; therefore, visibility is free to the public street and public.We also experienced ongoing issues during the stay:

The area has a nice local feel with cozy cafes, friendly shops, and restaurants where you can relax and enjoy. What I love most is how calm and homely it feels, yet it’s still just a short trip away from all the action in central London when you want to explore. It really feels like the best of both worlds.
