Beautiful 3 bedroom barn conversion in a rural hamlet near Saint James Normandy
Les Rosiers sits in a small hamlet of 4 properties in the Normandy countryside in Montjoie Saint Martin near to Saint James where you will find shops, bars and restaurants.
It is a beautiful 3-bedroom barn conversion with a fully equipped farmhouse style kitchen with dining area. The comfortable lounge has a woodburning stove and stairs that lead up to the bedrooms. Outside there is a lovely spacious garden, patio area and garden cabin with small terrace. The perfect spot for a holiday with family or friends.
The front door takes you directly into the kitchen which is fully equipped with everything you will need for your stay. There is a large table and chairs for dining (seats 6), an oven, microwave, large fridge freezer and small dish washer. There are four steps up to the rear door which takes you on to the decking with a table and chairs for al fresco dining.
Two steps take you down into the lounge from the kitchen which has comfortable seating for six and a wood burning stove. There is a television with a Freesat box for English channels, a cd and dvd player, board games and books.
Stairs from the lounge take you up to the three bedrooms, the first is the master bedroom with ensuite shower, wash basin and w.c. Moving along the landing is the second double bedroom followed by the family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower attachment, wash basin and w.c. There is also a twin bedroom.
Bedding and towels are provided.
There are lovely gardens to the side and rear of the property with country views, these gardens are enclosed with a small fence. In the garden is a wooden cabin with seating for your enjoyment, perfect for enjoying an evening aperitif.
There are steps in the garden from the decking areas and a stone wall where there is a drop to the decking area so care will be needed for children, and people with limited mobility. Dogs are welcome for an extra charge.
There is a private driveway with space for 2 to 3 cars and a garage where you will find the washing machine and charcoal BBQ all for your use.
The house has gas central heating for cooler days.
Please be advised that due to its remoteness it is difficult to get a mobile phone signal inside the property but you can by stepping outside and down the lane. You can alternatively use the satellite based wifi inside the house for calls, if you have the means to do so on your devices.
The nearest town with all amenities including supermarkets, bakeries, bars and restaurants is Saint James which is located just 4km from the property. Saint-Georges-de-Reintembault is also within a ten minute drive, just over the border in Brittany.
There are many beautiful villages and towns in the region, here are a few of our favourites and ideas for your stay.
