Tenuta Ricco is an attractive contemporary residence in the heart of Salento. It contains 3 separate apartments and studio rooms which can sleep up to 11 people. With a lovely garden and private pool, it makes the ideal base for family or friends who want to combine a relaxing holiday in the sun with exploring the gorgeous Salento peninsula. Groups can holiday together and enjoy some privacy and independence.

The first studio apartment for 4 is on the ground floor and looks out over Tenuta Ricco’s attractive swimming pool. It is elegantly furnished with a wrought-iron double bed and a sofa, which converts into a double bed. There is an en suite bathroom with a shower, basin, bidet, washing machine and WC. The studio also has a table for 4, a flat-screen TV and a wardrobe for storage. In the corner, guests will find a fitted kitchenette. This is well-equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, Moka coffee maker and a fridge/freezer.

The second studio is more intimate and would suit a couple or family with a small child. There is a double bed and a sofa which can become a single bed. There is a small fridge and a table and chairs for enjoying a cup of coffee. The bathroom is appointed with a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

The first-floor apartment can sleep up to 4 people. This apartment has a double bed, a single bed and a sofa which converts into a single bed. There is also a useful fridge. The private bathroom includes a shower, basin, bidet and WC.

Guests will spend a lot of time outside in the stunning gardens or relaxing by the 15m swimming pool. The terrace by the pool has 10 sunloungers and umbrellas. Children will enjoy the extensive lawns with plenty of room to run around. The gardens are dotted with lovely olive trees and make a welcome oasis.

In the heart of Salento Tenuta Ricco is ideally placed for guests to have easy access to everything this beautiful peninsula has to offer. Just 20 minutes from beautiful beaches, such as the Baia dei Turchi, or the port of Otranto. It is 25 minutes from the city of Lecce, famous for its wonderful Baroque architecture as well as its Roman ruins. It is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

For self-catering, the local weekly markets across Salento are the best places to pick up fresh ingredients. Cursi market (5 minutes) takes place every Wednesday and Castrignano dei Greci (6 minutes) on Thursday morning. Try out the local restaurants serving delicious local cuisine for inspiration.

Golfers will enjoy the two courses near the town of Acaya (35 minutes) or for more exercise and a hike through the unspoiled Mediterranean countryside, there is the WWF nature reserve of Le Cesine (35 minutes).

The closest airport is at Brindisi - just 1 hour away by car.
