Quiet stay

Cabin is decorated well, the amenities were adequate for a brief stay. Ducks/Geese were fun to watch.

Family getaway

This was a beautiful cabin fit for our little family getaway! The private dock was wonderful and the fishing was great. Perfect lake to take little ones on kayaks for the first time. Communication with the owners was quick and easy.

Peaceful, but close to tourist activities.

The lake cabin was perfect for some down time, but still close enough to Chattanooga for day trips to see the sites. Only caught a few small brim, but enjoyed casting the line and playing with the small turtles in the lake. My only complaint would be low water pressure, but it was sufficient. A blender would be nice to add to the appliances. I would recommend this rental to anyone looking for a rustic stay away from the city.

Oasis

What a wonderful little find! My husband and I had an amazing get away! This oasis is clean comfy and coooozy! We LOVED the setting and lake! We will definitely be back!!! Cassie the housekeeper and now a sweet friend was the BEST! She was sooo attentive to anything we needed
 not to mention
 a playlist of love songs playing on the tv when we arrived that her daughter helped pick out! GREAT little oasis! Looking for another weekend to go back now! Thank you guys for making it sooooo special!!!

Perfect for a couple

This cottage was just the right size for a couple. Very clean. Nicely updated inside. Plenty of linen. Loved sitting on the porch and just relaxing without noise- except the geese!. Might consider adding a few items to the kitchen like a baking sheet and a few serving bowls. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Getaway

We spent 4 nights here and it was amazing. The cottage was spotless and had everything we needed. We went to Ft. Mountain state park to see the mountains and also drove to Chattanooga one day. We caught a few fish, too. The cottage is very private and we didn't see any of the neighbors. I would certainly stay here again. I suggest bug spray if you're on the dock at night.Thats not a property problem, that's the nature of being near water. Awesome trip!!!

Nice cabin

What a nice cabin. I felt like I was in On Golden Pond movie. I was so relaxed there watching the geese and ducks. The inside of the cabin was well stocked and nicely decorated. The neighborhood houses around it were run down somewhat but it looks like somebody was fixing up many of the properties. I did feel safe at the cabin and taking a walk. We’ll be back.

Quiet, beautiful stay!

My husband and I came here for a little babymoon before baby #4 arrives and this cottage was just perfect for us. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. The cabin was clean and had nice updates. It had pretty much everything we were looking for in our stay. I will say we had trouble with directions at first because the street sign is small and the neighborhood doesn’t match the same ambiance as the cabin. But we had no problems at all after we arrived! We got such a kick out of the geese:) Loved it! Will return.

Dockside Cottage is an adorable tiny home, only 600 sq ft, which sits DIRECTLY on the water with a dock. You can walk out your door right to the dock to fish without ever leaving the nice wooded deck. It has Wi-Fi and Cable! Close to Chattanooga and Dalton!
