Beautiful chalet in the forest on the Veluwe, 40 mins from Utrecht
- In a quiet park
- Close to the park is a restaurant and also a cafeteria, shops are close by in Voorthuizen

Please note that smoking is NOT allowed in the chalet! If we feel the smoking smell after your stay, there will be a fine of minimally 500 EUR!
Our chalet has 2 bedrooms and a spacious living room with beautiful views of a small water pond in front of the chalet. Guests have the chalet all to themselves, and there is a parking space available for guests next to the chalet. The chalet is very close to the forest of de Veluwe.
Because we rent it out also for the longer term, we take into account limited gas, electricity, and water consumption. The above consumption will be charged extra. Includes monthly consumption:
- Gas 45m3,
- Electricity 140,
- Water 20,- per month.
This is based on normal use that we previously had (thermostat around 19-21 degrees, heating is off when you leave the house).
If you always want to leave the heating on and use more electricity than usual, the fee will be changed at check out.
You may check the meters when you check in and take a photo. Then check the meter readings when checking out.
If your stay is shorter than one month, the monthly quota will be assigned proportionally to your length of stay. For example, if you stay for one week, the monthly quota is 1/4. If you stay for two weeks, it's 1/2 and so on.
Upon check-out please take photos of the meters. This is how we see your actual consumption. If you do not send the photos of the meters, our cleaning company will come to the chalet, check it and send us the photos we forward to you.
After the booking, please submit the following details not later than 2 days (we will need to send these to our park administration):
1) Full name & Last name of all tenants
2) Email address
3) Phone number of all tenants
4) Country
5) Place of registration (Registered address)
6) Passport number of all tenants
7) Date of birth (of all tenants)
Some important points for our chalet:
1) Parking is allowed for only one car next to the chalet. If there is more than one car, one car can park near the chalet. The other one is outside the park, there is also parking near the entrance. Please do not park in other places or near neighbors, otherwise the chip may be deactivated and you will have to park only outside of the park.
2) Each chalet in the park is allocated 16 Amps of electricity. Thus, if many appliances are turned on at once (kettle, vacuum cleaner, TV), then the electricity may turn off. Please do not turn on all appliances at once. If, for example, you turn on a vacuum cleaner, you need it to work at different times than the kettle. One was turned off - the other was turned on.
3) Please reduce the heating when you leave (you can rotate the thermostat up to 5 degrees). Try not to turn it on more than 23 degrees (it is better to keep it at 20 degrees during the day, 19 degrees at night if this is possible and comfortable for you).
As mentioned in the description, we have a certain free quota per month for electricity, gas, water. The consumed data above it must be paid for at the tariffs indicated in the description.
4) Toilet - water flows into the WC barrel a little slowly after flushing, you can press it again if it keeps flowing so that it stops. It might take some time for it to flow but it will stop in the end.
5) Before leaving ALWAYS check that the sliding door in the living room (that faces the small lake in our garden) is closed. Itâs very important because itâs easy to forget about it and not to check it when leaving.
6) It is very important not to drive at high speed in the park after the barrier. No more than 5 km. Otherwise, the chip on the barrier may be deactivated.
7) Parties are not allowed in the chalet. After 10 pm, loud (and moderate ) noise is prohibited in the park so as not to disturb the neighbors.

De Heidekamp Park rules
Article 1: All guests at recreation park 'de Heidekamp' must strictly adhere to the provisions of these regulations; Visitors, guests and temporary users of the recreational accommodation must also comply with these regulations. In case of violation, they can be removed from the site, after which they can be denied further access.
Article 2: The manager is not liable, except for legal liability, for any damage and/or physical injury to goods and/or persons staying on the site or in the buildings of the recreation park.
Article 3: The tenants/owners, their family members and their guests are expected to do and/or refrain from doing all those things that befit a good holiday maker.
Article 4: Everyone is obliged to respect another's privacy.
Article 5: Contamination of the soil or of the site, the structures located thereon, including buildings, recreational accommodation and other objects, plants and the like, is strictly prohibited. Any damage will be recovered from the offender(s).
Article 6: The manager (management company) has the right to deny persons access to the site or to remove them from the site.
Article 7: It is forbidden for children to use the car park as a playground, the parents or caretakers are responsible for enforcement.
Article 8: Only one car parked close to the chalet is allowed. Parking of cars and other vehicles, other than in the designated parking area is prohibited. Parking on the parking area of neighbours is strictly prohibited. Parking a camper, delivery van, truck, trailer, boat or touring caravan is not allowed. Bicycles and light mopeds of visitors and guests are allowed in the park; Guests with a motorcycle or moped that, in the opinion of the park manager, produce too much noise are not allowed to enter the site; Cars in a poor state of repair or with disturbing noises are not allowed in the park.
Article 9: When entering and leaving the site, a maximum speed of 5 kilometers per hour is required; Traffic coming from the site must give way at the barrier to traffic wishing to enter the site.
Article 10: It is not allowed to cycle on the grass. This prohibition does not apply to those who have been granted exemption from this by decision of the administrator and to children under the age of six.
Article 11: Magnetic keys are not tranferrable. If you have guests who drive a car â please ask them to park outside of the park in the parking area for guests. Do not let them enter the park or park close to chalet outside of the one-car parking area or by the area of neighbours.
Article 12: It is forbidden to use motor vehicles outside the paved roads on the site.
