A magnificent base for exploring this corner of North Wales, the three-bedroom holiday hideaway is one of a handful of cottages near Llanfwrog (9 miles from Holyhead). Sleeping six guests, it encompasses luxurious accommodation for a family or small party of friends. From here, stroll onto the golden Sandy Beach to paddle, swim or play games. Keen walkers might like to follow a section of the 125-mile Anglesey Coast Path that wraps around the entire island. Venture into Holyhead to shop or book tickets to the cinema. Head 8 miles to see South Stack Lighthouse, in its impressive headland position. Dine out or play golf at Trearddur Bay (8 miles) or go wildlife spotting at the Cemlyn Nature Reserve (8.5 miles).
Enter the cottage to discover warm, welcoming accommodation with a sumptuous finish. The generous lounge, with its country house-style finish, has been arranged so you can sink back into the deep sofas to watch TV, play a game or simply gaze out to sea. Tear yourself away from watching the boats drift by to amble through to the open-plan kitchen/diner to prepare the next meal. Open the French doors onto the patio area to bring in a sea breeze as you make the most of all the accessories and equipment here in this cottage. Whip up tasty dishes with the fresh, local produce you have sourced on your trips out then gather round the table to dine against a backdrop of more sea views. As the day draws to a close, make your way through to one of the three luxurious bedrooms, each with a TV and DVD player. A double bedroom, with an en-suite shower room is situated downstairs, while a king-size and a twin can be found on the first floor via the stylish wooden staircase. The family shower room is also at this level.
Enjoy the best of fine days by relaxing out on the enclosed patio. Dine alfresco and linger over a bottle of wine on warm, summer evenings. Guests will also benefit from two private parking spaces.
