This newly decorated townhouse provides a welcome retreat after a busy day sightseeing in Exeter. With 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and reception rooms spread over 3 floors, this home feels spacious enough to comfortably house a family, or 3 couples. Stroll down to the Quay to spend the evening meandering between bars, or enjoy a meal in one of the many eateries. Perfectly placed to explore the countryside, Dartmoor, or one of the many beaches, this home has all you need for your next Devon getaway!

This home is situated in a quiet Cul-de-sac a mere minute's walk from the Quay. The accommodation is spread over 3 floors with the kitchen diner being on the ground floor. This has a full size fridge and freezer, as well as all the usual kitchen appliances. All the crockery and kitchen items have been newly purchased in 2022, and the decoration is bright and welcoming.
Up to the first floor is a gorgeous, cosy lounge, perfect to unwind after a long day out sightseeing. The sofas are extremely comfortable and there is enough room for all the family to relax and watch a film together. There is also a wc and one of the bedrooms on this floor.
On the top floor is the master bedroom with en-suite shower room. Carefully decorated to ensure the space has character, whilst still being a retreat. There is a further bedroom and the main bathroom on this floor.
The home and garden is yours for the entirety of your stay. You will not share any spaces with anyone else., as well as free on street parking outside and on some streets nearby (please be careful to check the signs for permissions).
This property is a 1 minute walk to the Quayside and the canal, through the walkway under the arch to the left of the terrace. It is also 10 minutes from town (uphill). It is very central, so buses go into the center very regularly from Water Lane.
There is a Coop less than 5 minutes on foot, as well as an M&S food a bit further beyond on Exe Bridges roundabout (less than 10 minutes on foot).

Whilst we are on hand to assist with any issues during your stay, we are unable to make changes to anything within the home to suit individual needs. The property is to be taken as it is. If there is a sofa bed in the home, it will not be set up as a bed. We presume you will want to use the sofa for its main use, as a sofa until the night time.
The holiday home is equipped with a couple of toilet rolls and basic kitchen items such as a sponge, washing liquid, bin liners and salt & pepper. If you want anything specific, such as liquid hand soap or kitchen roll, please ensure you bring this with you for your stay. We do not supply additional consumables, this includes toilet rolls.
You are welcome to use and enjoy the outdoor seating areas. We do kindly ask that guests clean up after themselves and leave these facilities in a state that is suitable for the next people staying, as our cleaners will be unable to provide a full garden overhaul at each changeover.
If the management team are called out to resolve an issue where you are at fault, you will incur a ÂŁ100 callout charge, i.e. if you cannot connect to the wifi, but you have unplugged the router. Please be aware we will have to charge ÂŁ50 if you have locked yourself out and we need to attend to help you gain access. There is a ÂŁ100 charge for failure to leave the keys in the key safe on departure. This is because we will have to conduct an emergency lock change for safety reasons.
THE GOOD HOUSEKEEPING BOND
As per our listing details, we operate using a Good Housekeeping Bond and whilst we do not take a physical deposit, we have up to 14 days after departure to charge for any additional cleaning or damages caused during your stay and not reported. We understand that accidents can happen so please let us know if you have anything to report before your departure. Thank you
- Parties are strictly prohibited this is a quiet residential area not suitable for events
- Extra guests are not allowed unless previously authorised
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property
- We do not allow the use of candles ethanol burners or any other naked flame items. This is a safety precaution to help us prevent a fire starting in the home
- Respect for neighbours is highly appreciated. Please keep the noise down especially after 10pm
- It is not permitted to charge electric vehicles using the property's electricity supply.
