The wooded, private property (over 1.5 acres) overlooks the beautiful Wisconsin River in Nekoosa, WI. Enjoy swimming, boating, kayaking, waterskiing, fishing, golfing, trap shooting, or just reminiscing over an inviting campfire! This beautiful and spacious waterfront property is on the Wisconsin River, with boating access into Lake Petenwell, which is over 23,000 acres! Lake Petenwell also has bars, restaurants, and campgrounds on it. The location is just 10 minutes from Lake Arrowhead and world renowned Sand Valley Golf Resort, as well as the Wisconsin State Trap Shooting Associating which now has an Olympic designation.
Area vendors also offer boat rentals.
The Kitchen, Dining and Living Room are all open concept providing the perfect setting to enjoy socialization.

Birthday Weekend

We really enjoyed the location and the beautiful house! There was plenty of bedrooms and restrooms for 5 couples. Wendy & Mike are wonderful hosts and made sure we were comfortable and safe during our stay! We selfishly hope they don’t sell their property so we can come back!

Beautiful home

Stayed in this immaculate property while our group was on a Sand Valley golf trip. Well equipped with everything we needed, close to everything but far enough away for tranquility.

Beautiful river house

We have a group of couples friends that try to get together each year. This year we stayed at this beautiful river house. Plenty of room and fun amenities such as pier and dock, fire pit, pool table and huge dinning table for us all. We would definitely go again

Beautiful home!!!!

House was beautiful and spacious and well stocked! Mosquitoes were a problem. Fishing and swimming from the pier was poor. Lots of weeds and stumps in the river. Fishing and swimming in the river were good. Lots of sand bars for kids to play and swim in.

Family reunion

The weather prevented us from enjoying all the property has to offer. The yard would be great for playing crocket, setting up a volleyball net or roasting marshmallows on a fire. The young children did have fun riding bikes on the driveway. The great room offered plenty of space to sit and read, play games and spend time together. I would caution families with young children that the drop off to the river is steep. It was easy to tie up a boat to the pier until the DNR opened the dam!

Nekoosa WI River Vacation With Friends

We had a group of 10 adults. We really had a great time staying at this home. Lots of space, large bedrooms, and plenty of bathrooms. We enjoyed the large kitchen and living room. We also enjoyed playing pool in the basement family room. Plenty of seating for all of us around the fire pit and patio table. A beautiful house with good location near town, stores and shops. Things to note, the pier is big, but not the greatest for fishing off of or swimming. I highly recommend a boat. It will allow you to see more of the beautiful WI river as well as petenwell lake, there are many sandbars to stop and swim.

Incredible place

Really amazing spot, owners went above and beyond in putting out instructions and a whole book on things to do and house instructions. Location is gorgeous, fishing was awesome and view was amazing!!! House was meticulously clean and our experience was awesome!

Enjoy the pool table and dart board in the game room!
