We were disappointed with this property to say the least. Iâve provided a letter we sent to the host. We have yet to receive a response. Subject: Request for Refund/Discount Due to Significant Issues During Our StayDear Sara,I hope youâre well. Iâm writing to share some serious concerns that impacted our experience at your property in London. While we understand that older homes can come with occasional quirks, the number and nature of the issues weâve encountered have gone well beyond whatâs reasonable for a short-term rental at this price point.Most notably, we were without hot water for approximately half of our stay â a basic and essential amenity.In addition, weâve experienced:-Multiple sightings of mice inside the property-Black mold in one of the bathrooms-A broken bathroom door knob-A property manager arriving unannounced at 9:30 p.m. to fix the door-A freezer that would not close upon arrival-A non-functioning dryer-Floor mats provided instead of proper hand towels-No pillowcases provided for the extra pillowsWeâve documented each of these issues and would be happy to share photos if helpful. Taken together, they raise serious concerns about cleanliness, safety, and the overall readiness of the property.Weâre requesting a refund or partial discount to reflect the conditions of our stay. We would prefer to resolve this directly with you, but if necessary, weâre prepared to escalate the matter to Vrbo with documentation.
