We arrived one hour before check-in time so we had a drink at the bar and waited. We went to the room at our designated check-in time and the cleaning staff was only getting started cleaning, so we had to wait around 15 more minutes to go in the room. Once inside there was a strange smell, as if there had been a dog in the room, we believe it was the linen and/or carpet being musty, the pillows definitely smelled a bit. We were surprised there was no AC given the price, when we mentioned it to the staff they brought a small fan, which was very dirty. Also one of the curtains had what appeared to be a cigarette burn. When we tried to get back in the room we discovered the keycard had not been activated, so we had to go back to reception to have it activated. I want to stress that the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the food at the restaurant was delicious. I do recommend more attention to detail and to please check their linen, because ours definitely did not smell normal.
