Located in vibrant Islington, in the heart of Angel!

My spacious one-bedroom London retreat is set over three floors and includes a private terrace—excellent for people-watching along Essex Road!
It features a wonderfully bright, open-plan living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and an attic bedroom with a bathroom on the same floor.

Welcome to our wonderfully unique three-story townhouse, discreetly tucked away behind the vibrant Essex Road. With its private and almost subtle entrance, this hidden gem offers a quiet sanctuary amidst the buzz of London life.

Ground Floor:
A fully-equipped kitchen diner featuring a breakfast table with two stools, perfect for a slow morning coffee. The kitchen has modern amenities, including a dishwasher, washing machine, clothes dryer, and a stylish cream Smeg fridge freezer. Guests will find a gas hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a Dolce Gusto coffee machine (please bring your favourite pods).

First Floor:
The first floor is a bright, inviting space with natural light streaming in from windows on three walls. Relax on the large L-shaped sofa while enjoying the 40-inch Smart TV (guests can log in to their own Netflix or streaming accounts). A dining table and chairs provide the perfect setting for meals or workspace. Unique touches include a large bridal mirror repurposed and double doors leading to a private terrace. The terrace offers outdoor seating, potted plants, and lovely views of Essex Road—an ideal spot to unwind and enjoy some down time.

Top Floor:
The top floor is home to a tranquil bedroom, featuring a king-size bed with a brand-new Simba mattress. The room includes built-in wardrobes, a chest of drawers, and wall lamps on either side of the bed. A charming circular window adds character to the space. The bathroom is located on this floor in a separate room, offering ambient lighting with lights in the mirror, toilet, hand basin, and a shower over bath, with a handheld shower and a rainfall shower.

Transportation couldn’t be easier. Angel Station (Northern Line) is a 10-minute walk, and Essex Road Station offers Overground links, connecting you effortlessly to Central London and beyond. Buses from Essex Road provide additional convenient options to explore the city.

We provide thoughtful touches to make your stay even more enjoyable: complimentary tea and coffee, miniature travel-sized toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, and soap), a washing-up pack, kitchen roll, and toilet roll to last a few days. If you need additional supplies, there are many shops across the road!

Perfect for work or leisure!

You have access to the entire property with no disruptions. Should a maintenance query occur, you will be asked permission first before we access the property to carry out a repair.

The flat is in a building which has a separate basement. There are stairs from the kitchen downwards to a door with no guest access to the basement, and vice versa- the basement does not have access to the flat. The basement contains a small office where the tenants of the space have a separate entrance to the front of the building.

Check-in/ check-out:

Our standard check-in time is after 3 pm. Check-out is before 11 am. If you wish to check in or check out outside these hours please let us know. This is subject to availability and a fee.
Please be on time when checking out. Our cleaners are often there at 11 am on the dot and have a busy schedule. A ÂŁ20 charge per half an hour will be applied for unauthorised late check-outs or early check-ins.

Keys:
Specific instructions are given a day before check-out to ensure keys are placed in the key safe when departing the property. If instructions are not followed, this will cause a delay in my cleaner's access and impact their schedule for the rest of the day. As a result, there will be a fine of ÂŁ50.

A ÂŁ50 fee is charged for call out if you forget the keys and lost keys are charged at ÂŁ100 for replacement locks. Please be careful with them.

Parking:
There is no space parking with the property. The are many cost efficient ways to find a parking space online or with the apps:

With the two suggested below residents in the neighbourhood advertise their parking spaces at a reduced rate compared to most car parks

- Just Park

PLEASE NOTE, if hiring a Zip Car, parking is not included in their charges, therefore must also be purchased in addition with the use of the car.

Smoking:
Smoking is strictly forbidden. A fine of ÂŁ200 will be charged when discovered.

Additional guests:
No extra guests are allowed in the property at any time without prior permission and no parties/loud music allowed. We are very conscious of being in a residential area and any violation of either rule will incur a ÂŁ250 fine.

Lost property:
Please be careful not to leave anything behind when you checkout! A separate company deals with shipping lost property and charge a minimum ÂŁ25 per item, plus shipping costs.

Linen Policy for Extended Stays
For stays over 21 nights, our professional linen service requires a refresh every 21 days.
You can choose between:
Fresh Linen Supply – A new set of bed linen and towels delivered, with used ones collected.
Linen Rehire – Keep the current set, which will be collected for cleaning after departure.
Both options are available at the same cost.

Pass the KeysÂź provides a hotel standard of service for short-let properties. The property is professionally maintained and cleaned. We guarantee professionally cleaned linens and toiletries. We also provide 24/7 guest support and local personal service before and during your stay.
The local community-based team of Pass the Keys¼ personally inspects the property and certifies the home has met Pass the Keys¼’s Property Readiness Standard.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
