Alder Barn, a cottage, consists of a kitchen/diner with oven, hob, dishwasher and seating for six guests, a utility with fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, kettle, and toaster, and a sitting room with woodburning stove and Smart TV. The bedrooms consist of a super-king-size with en-suite shower, super-king-size, and twin, serviced by a bathroom and a cloakroom. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen, and towels are included in the rent. Outside, there is an enclosed garden with lawn, patio, and furniture, a non-enclosed field with a pond, and off-road parking for six cars. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Within 1.5 miles you will find a shop, and within 2.2 miles you will find a pub. Enjoy a memorable escape to Staffordshire at Alder Barn. Note: There is a step down to one of the bedrooms, please take care.

Dovedale and the limestone Churnet Valley are on the doorstep and The Manifold Trail is close by. There is easy access to many of the area's attractions including Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Lyme Park (NT) as seen in TVâs Pride & Prejudice, the NT Ilam Estate or Peak Wildlife Park. A great touring base for all the Peak District - and Alton Towers is just a 10 minute drive away.
