Canterbury, with its array of boutiques and iconic cathedral, is just 6 miles away if you prefer the city experience. Play golf at Canterbury, Faversham or Ashford, all within 10 miles, or head to the coast at Whitstable, only 11 miles. Keen gardeners will love Hole Park, Godinton House, and Sissinghurst Castle and Gardens, all within 26 miles. Don’t miss a visit to one of the local vineyards, which include Chapel Down, Gusbourne, Balfour Winery, Biddenden, and the new cellar door at Domaine Evremond, the latter just 1.5 miles away. Alternatively, two steps down from the lounge is a delightful garden room with comfortable seating for enjoying the verdant views. When you start to yawn, the double bedroom is a cosy space that’s perfect for a tranquil night’s sleep. Finally, there’s a spacious shower room with a beautifully tiled floor and a large walk-in shower. The garden outside includes a gravelled area with table and chairs for al fresco enjoyment – perhaps sipping a morning coffee or sundowner. There’s also a covered bench for shaded seating at the end of the beautifully tended garden with its cultivated beds, gravelled paths, and ornamental obelisks.
