Njut av din varma morgonvarma från en gungstol på den täckta verandan medan du tittar på hela dalen nedanför och bergen bortom. Mycket privat och helt avkopplande. Utan att komma in i din bil kan du uppleva denna vackra miljö, antingen sitta och koppla av eller våga ut på en vacker promenad eller vandra och njuta av naturen när det är bäst. I slutet av dagen koppla av vid utsidan eldstaden, inuti eldstaden eller i badtunnan medan solen går ner och stjärnorna stiger

Beläget i den vackra och natursköna Maggie Valley utanför Waynesville i Smokey Mountains i North Carolina. Om du letar efter äventyr behöver du inte leta långt. Maggie Valley ligger precis nerför berget, Waynesville inom 15 minuter och centrum av Asheville en enkel 40 minuters bilresa. 30 minuter till Cherokee Casino och om du letar efter skidåkning och snowboard Cataloochee Ski Resort är mindre än 8 miles bort med andra resorts i närheten.

De två queen size-sängarna har bekväma nya skummadrasser med minne och det finns en extra enkelsäng och dra ut en bäddsoffa. This was actually our 2nd stay at the property. Liked it so much the first time we came back for our Anniversary. Gorgeous views and well equipped for anything you'd want to do in the house. Weather was foggy most of the time we were there this time, but even that had it's own charm over the mountains and down into the valleys.

Perfect

We've never explored the Smokey Mt area and this was the perfect spot to do so!!!Eric was very accommodating as was the rustic cabin feel,and all the amenities. The view was spectacular, especially from the hot tub, and the entire deck. I think we spent more time on the deck, when not enjoying the town and everything around it, then inside!!!Very comfortable, well appointed and the privacy was just like being in the woods by yourself.We will definitely be back!!!Thanks Eric & Stacy

Dated Property

The property was very old, dated and worn as was all the furniture. We've stayed in Maggie Valley about 10 times over the last 4 years so have an appreciation for what other properties are like. The view was great but everything else was well below expectations.

Amazing!!

The perfect cozy cabin. We felt right at home and the view was amazing. The owner was incredibly responsive and helpful. The way they maintain and care for the cabin felt just like it would if we were to have called it our home. Really can’t say enough nice things. Thank you for a peaceful and easy place!

Slice of Heaven

Our experience at the Slice of Heaven was immaculate! My family and I enjoyed all the amenities the cabin had to offer. We enjoyed grilling out and making s’mores by the campfire. Perfect location for anyone looking to take their family to Cataloochee ski area.

Beautiful scenic getaway

The property was beautiful; it had picturesque views. Sunset was particularly beautiful when there wasn't cloud cover. The cabin had was well stocked with all of the appliances a typical person would have at home. The beds were comfortable. It was easy to drive to and from the Smoky Mountains Park. We were a bit uncomfortable with navigating the switchbacks, particularly at night, but we managed. It helped to have jeep to climb the steep inclines and it handled the descent nicely. The host provided great directions to help us find the cabin. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

The cabin is very basic, but clean and comfortable. The drive up from the highway is windy and narrow, but worth the effort for the spectacular view.

Perfect Getaway

We booked this cabin for a week long Thanksgiving getaway. The property was beautiful and quiet. Hot tub views are amazing at sunset. We burned an outdoor fire almost every night. The house itself is older but is perfect for a small group. We brought our pup with us and he enjoyed laying by the fire in the living room. Highly recommend this property for a nice break.

Beautiful views and cozy cabin

My 2 boys, husband, and I had a great time staying here. The view is amazing and it's very close to a lot of different places. We loved nearby Waynesville and Asheville is also a short drive away. The cabin is small and cozy - perfect for the 4 of us. We loved the hot tub and played several of the board games available. I would definitely stay here again!

Great mountain getaway

We have a great extended weekend at the cabin. We enjoyed the hot tub each day of our stay. The view is amazing. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt. The cabin was as expected. The switchbacks up to the cabin were a bit much for me but thankfully the hubby had no issue driving on them. The location was perfect for our plans to do some hiking. The town of Maggie Valley had much more food options for me than I expected! The mom and pop Organic Coffee Shop was our favorite… they have fresh gluten free bakery!

We have called Charleston, SC home for about 15 years now and love it. Originally from Cherry Hill, New Jersey, my wife Stacy is a Yoga teacher working with diverse groups including children in low income schools, physically challenged individuals, public classes and private lessons to name a few. I was born and bred in Canada 30 miles west of Toronto. After finishing university I did my Masters in Australia before travelling and working abroad and in North America. I settled in Charleston where I work as a Realtor, investor, renovator, and manage my long term and vacation rentals. We're a family of 3 with our young daughter Satya. We visit our cabin and other mountain property as often as possible. The cabin is a great spot and we're happy to share it with you.

Varför värden valde detta boende

We purchased our cabin back in Oct 2017. Whenever we're travelling our vacation home search filter always starts with...hot tub, fire place and pet friendly. The log cabin feel and views are always a bonus as well. So when we saw the Slice of Heaven log cabin come available we knew we had found our spot. We were sold on the stunning, unbeatable views to be enjoyed from either hot tub or rocking chairs along with a fireplace and a fire pit all in a quiet, private setting. Not to mention the 2 bedrooms and 2 baths plus a pull out couch allowing us to bring family and friends to enjoy it with us. We've got two other vacation rentals as well. One is just outside of Asheville where we've just added a patio and hot tub. The other is on the water with a dock in Beaufort, SC. Touch base if you would like more info on either.
