Beautiful Condo

We would stay here again. The condo was everything it stated. The grounds around the building were nice, however they are painting the lanai’s at the building so every morning you woke up to beeping of the lifts. The lifts were a bit of an eyesore. The garbages were not picked up regularly on the floors or on the grounds of the property. We got two notices under the door about maintenance being needed on the filter that they never completed and one for doing construction on the flooring in the condo next door. Maui rentals were prompt when called for more TP. The pools and beach were beautiful. Lots of kids.

Outstanding! Hokulani tower room 511 was very nice. Beyond my initial expectation. Beautiful view of ocean and garden. Morning sun on the lanai.

Great 2bed 2 bath!

This is our 6th stay at Honua Kai, even with Covid and some resort property restrictions, the units here disappointment. The only con I have for this specific unit compared to the others is it needs to update it's living room furniture, most uncomfortable couch and chairs I've ever sat on. Everything else was great!

Great condo for a family!

We stayed for 10 days with our 3 children - ages 8, 5 & 1 and it was perfect. The property manager left us with a highchair, booster, pack n play (and sheet) and beach umbrella/chairs. The view is better than the pictures and the proximity to the pool and Dukes can't be beat. Highly recommend.

Relaxing vaca

We enjoyed staying at Honua Kai very much. The two places we rented were both great places to stay. The kitchens had most everything you would need to prepare meals. It was handy to have the washer; the dryer was a joke. Plan on laying things out to dry. There were ice chests, toys, chairs, mats and more in the closets for our use. The beds were comfortable. We would stay there again...

Beautiful property - loved the location!

Loved the views from our balcony - sunsets, tropical rain and sunny days. The rooms/beds were comfortable, very clean and the kitchen held all we needed for a few meals. The resort pools, Duke's restaurant, coffee shop and amenities were perfect and we enjoyed the provided wagon, umbrella and chairs when we visited the beach. Maui Resort Rentals were very easy to work with and we would definitely rent from them again!

The view was great

The washer had and odor & the dryer took a long time to dry anything. Maintenance took care of the lights that were out & the hair dryer was replaced because it didn't work. Even tho the weather wasn't great we still enjoyed the week.

Everything is exactly as shown in the pics - beautiful. Will definitely stay again!

We had a fabulous time. Loved the unit and the property - very well maintained. The property is a great size - not too big but with all the amenities you could want. Wifi was very fast which I appreciated. Great kitchen with everything you could need - even a Vitamix blender. We used the beach chairs and umbrella every day. We look forward to our next visit!!!

Great Place to Stay on the Beack

This is a great unit in a beautiful resort. The unit itself is OVER THE TOP gorgeous. Two master suites, a spacious living area and a large balcony. The resort is well maintained and is conveniently located on the Ka'anapali beach walk. Easy beach access and the unit contains beach chairs and an large umbrella. The pools (yes there are three!) area and on site amenities are excellent. There is also an on site restaurant with happy hour drinks! The staff is friendly and helpful. A couple of thing to be aware of for this unit. It has great north facing views of the ocean. As such, you will not see sunset directly from the balcony, but the property has many great places for this. I like this option as the balcony is a nice break from the sun. Another item to be aware is that this is a courtyard room. So it is noisy during the day and if others are having a party on their balcony. The rental company is easy to work with and responsive. When you call, do not necessarily expect an immediate response. We were sent to an answering service each time - even during normal business hours. So be prepared for short delay. Calls are returned pretty promptly.

Loved the condo! Fantastic view of the ocean from our balcony. Very nice to have beach chairs in the room to take with us. The location is very accessable to stores, shopping, attractions, etc. Outstanding staff!! Would definitely return!
