Glebe Cottage sleeps 4 with the option of additional guests on airbeds. The property has a large tiered garden with no boundary line to the neighbours on the right. The house has its own private entry by keysafe.

The location is the perfect mix of peaceful, rural country living, whilst still being just a minute walk away from all of the local amenities including a pub, fresh sourdough cafe and local supermarket.

Glebe Cottage is located just 3 miles from the centre of Beaminster. Beaminster is a picturesque Somerset Town, providing many local amenities including numerous supermarkets, pubs and restaurants, cafes, weekly markets and retail shops.

Glebe cottage would suit couples, families or professionals working/holidaying in the area, with close transport links to the M5 (just 20 miles from J25), Exeter Airport (50 minutes) and the coast (20 minutes). This is the perfect place for an all year round retreat.

Cottage kitchen

A well equipped kitchen suitable for ‘home from home’ cooking/baking for the family. Dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/ freezer and well stocked tea and coffee making facilities.

Dining room

A large 6 seating dining table, perfect for a group meal or enclosed working space.

Living room

A comfortable sitting area with digital TV. Heating is controlled from the wood burner.

Bedroom 1

Good sized double bedroom, bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers, power supplies and a full length mirror.

Bedroom 2

Can be set up as either a single, twin or doubled bedroom. Bedside tables with lamps, chest of drawers, power supplies and a full length mirror.

Bathroom

Large bathroom with shower bath. Very light and airy bathroom.

Parking

There is lots of on street parking, guests can park outside property to unload belongings and then park the car just opposite the road to the house.

Heating

The house is an old property so can get cold in the winter. There is no heating system, but the wood fire produces heat when ran for a while. There are oil heaters in the bedrooms and electric heaters downstairs but the radiators around the house are fuelled by the wood fire. If you would like us to provide wood for the fire we can do so on request at 10 pounds per bag of logs.
