Experience the charm of rural France in this beautifully renovated detached bungalow on the scenic CharenteâHaute-Vienne border. Set amidst rolling countryside, this accessible, stylish retreat sleeps 6 guests comfortably, ideal for families, couples, or small groups looking to relax, recharge, and explore.
NOTE: We have a hot tub and pet service available, but you will need to book and pay for them at least 36 hours before check-in.
This fully detached bungalow has been thoughtfully renovated to blend contemporary comfort with country charm. Inside, you'll find bright, open living spaces, a fully equipped kitchen, and all the modern touches you need. The kitchen is spacious, modern, and well-equipped with a gas hob, microwave, built-in electric oven, washing machine, fridge-freezer, toaster, kettle, coffee machine, iron & ironing board. The property has it's own enclosed garden with patio area and seating, roll out awnings, a raised gravel area with garden swing and BBQ overlooking the rest of the private grounds adjacent. The garden has solar lighting. The driveway and wheelchair ramps have low level lighting.
The bungalow is fully wheelchair accessible throughout, with a wheelchair ramp down from the driveway to the main patio and external sockets for charging mobility scooters. The property has a VMC which keeps air circulating constantly. The lounge is South facing but has window shutters which can be shut as well as roll out awnings, this keeps the South side of the property cool, there is also fly screens on main lounge and kitchen windows which can be then left open at night time to let cool air in.
The property has access to a hot tub, but it's not included in the rental price and is a short distance away in the neighbouring land which is also owned by us. The hot tub is not adapted for accessibility. The bungalow does have fencing all around but on the one side it is low fencing so that you can enjoy the views over the rest of the grounds. There is chickens and wildlife in the main grounds so any dogs that are likely to jump the fence to get at our chickens or wildlife will not be permitted. We reserve the right to ask you to leave and there will be no refund.
Guests have full private access to the entire home and garden. Enjoy self check-in, free parking, and a peaceful, secure setting for a worry-free stay. The bungalow is located in a tranquil countryside setting, just 15 minutes from a lake with a sandy beach, and 25 minutes from historic towns, go-karting, Go Ape, and markets.
