En av våra gäster sa det bäst: "Hang Ten var ett underbart semesterhus. Layouten var perfekt att låta alla integritet och det hade allt vi behövde. Verkligen haft Uteplats, visa, tillgång till stranden och stor pool! Vi var mycket nöjda!

Hang Ten är idealiskt beläget på St. George Island. Det är 1/4 mil märke öns Cykelleden, precis tillräckligt långt från den kommersiella centrum för tyst men ändå nära nog för en enkel cykeltur eller promenad. Stranden ligger bara 100 steg bort, med tillgång till stranden servitut direkt framför huset. Varje rum har utsikt över stranden. Hang Ten har tre sovrum och tre badrum, en välfylld kök, tvättstuga, garage, medföljande varmt och kallt utomhus dusch, fisk rengöring diskbänk, och avskärmade och öppna däck. De två sovrummen ligger i motsatta ändar av huset, vilket ger välkomstskillnad för dem som vill ha det.
Poolen är en av de mest privata på ön.
En gäst kommenterade: du kan bära din födelsedagsdräkt! Poolvärme finns tillgänglig mot en extra kostnad ($ 300 per vecka) under våren och hösten beroende på lufttemperaturen.

Hang Ten erbjuder också gratis trådlöst höghastighetsinternet, en barnstol, en lekhage, och en barnvagn.

Hundar är välkomna: $ 70 för upp till två hundar. $ 35 varje extra hund.

Great location

Great location. Spent most of our time away from the house so the accommodations were fine for us. Gave a 4 for cleanliness, there were quite a few dishes that had to be washed.

Phenomenal house, location, and owners!

Loved the house. Comfortably slept 6. Great location right across from the beach. The beach was very quiet and the dogs enjoyed their first trip to the Gulf. Good restaurants in the island and in Appalachicola - a 15 minute drive. Great pool. Very responsive owners. Will definitely be back!

Perfect family vacation

We have stayed in many homes on St.George Island over the years. We always stay across the street from the beach. This home is fully equipped with everything you need. Great private pool. Unobstructed view of the ocean. Great floor plan.

Million Dollar View

Check in was a breeze everything was close by and it was literally 100 feet to the beach! Sunrises are a must see and the pool was just the right size!

Wonderful Property

Just returned from a wonderful, relaxing stay. The house is very comfortable and a great layout! We were able to leave windows open and sleep to the sound of the waves right across the street. Pool is very private and nice. The owner was so receptive and communicated very quickly.

Enjoyable Vacation

The property was in great shape and the location nice. We could sit on the porch and feel the ocean breeze, the beach was a few steps away. The owner allowed the Grand kids to come over an enjoy the pool. Easy access to a lot of restaurants. great Vacation!! Doyle M.

Wonderful spot

This was our second time at Hang Ten. Everything you need is there and it's just steps to the beach. The pool on site was great and heated nicely during our stay. We used the outdoor grill and the sink for fish cleaning. The layout of the house suits our family perfectly and there are no complaints!!!

Spring Break 2020

Hang Ten was perfect for our Spring Break stay this year. The house is directly across from the beach with a beach view and very easy direct access. We really enjoyed how quiet the beach was at this location, while still being able to bike to shops and restaurants. Thank you Reggie!

Wonderful

Loved the layout of house. No worries about being to crowded with the max number of guess. Having the pool and grilling was nice. Would definitely stay again. Can't wait to come back to Hang Ten!

We loved our stay at Hang Ten! The location felt very private and had great views of the water from the front porch. It was an easy and short walk to the beach which made it easy to transport your beach gear. The house had a lot of space and would be comfortable for multiple couples or a larger family with the 3 bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you would need for cooking. We enjoyed having the pool for afternoon swims and the fact that the house was pet friendly was great so we could vacation with our dogs. Reggie was very responsive and gave us all the information we needed on what to bring ahead of our trip. We can't wait to come back to St George Island and rent Hang Ten again!

We just left Hang Ten on E SGI and can’t express how much we enjoyed our Christmas vacation.

We rented this lovely 3 bedroom 3 bath house across the road from the beach path for some good surf fishing. It was bright and cheerful, nicely furnished and quite roomey for the 6 adults that stayed there. The owner, Reggie Ratcliff was so nice to work with and responded to my questions and requests immediately. We hope to come back to SGI next year and would definitely stay here again if available.

Nice getaway

We had a nice time and Reggie was very responsive. We did wash some linens because it seemed they were dirty. Actually smelled dirty. Otherwise clean property.

As Described

The property is as described in the listing. The host was very quick to respond. We had 1 minor hiccup and the host had it fixed quickly. The house is an older house with typical maintenance/updates you would expect at a house by the ocean (parents owned a house on the island for many years-salt water is harsh on things ). Furniture was comfortable ( we recommend bring your own pillows but everyone has their own preference). Very short walk to the beach, centrally located and great views! Would stay again.

My new favorite home away from home.

Love this property! Unique floor plan provides privacy and big dining room table perfect at mealtime. Screened porch is perfect for listening to the surf with a cocktail or morning coffee. Walk to the beach is short and straight across the road. I will plan our next trip when this property is available. Owner is helpful and prompt with communications.

Hang Ten!

This house is within walking distance to the Blue Parrot. The Pool is extremely private with morning and evening shade. We also enjoyed having rooms on either side of the house giving the kids their own little area. The owner was very responsive to our needs before during and after our stay. Thank You!

Beautiful location!

We had a nice relaxing vacation at East End! The view was amazing and a very short walk to the beach! We watched dolphins swimming and Pelicans fishing, it was just what we needed! The house layout was very nice, we would have liked more towels and paper products but we made do. The furniture in the living room needs to be updated, it was not very comfortable. The house needs some TLC but overall it was a beautiful place! The owners are very easy to work with!

We are a family of 4 living in the Metro Atlanta area. We're all nature lovers and love traveling and spending time outdoors. In the summer of 2003 we vacationed on SGI and loved it completely and returned a month later to look for a place to call our own. We bought 'Hang Ten' in September.
Our goal is to make our guests happy.
Since 2013 we have been managing the property ourselves with the help of a very experienced, St. George Island-based management service company. This personalized and dedicated company handles the housekeeping and maintenance for us. They have been providing the customized service for our house and their goals include a very welcoming house upon your arrival and no need for service calls.

Varför värden valde detta boende

Hang Ten sits on a street to street lot., with good vegetation in the back yard which provides great privacy. The beach access is right in front of the house. There is also no power line in front of the house. Only 3 blocks to the lighthouse and island center, very convenient for shopping and dining. Its location is at the highest point of the island, so it is not prone to flooding by storms.
We think it is a perfect location.
