The unspoilt Norfolk Broads village of Barton Turf is home to plenty of scenic walks to explore on foot or by bike, as well as a staithe and boatyard which provides direct access to Barton Broad’s rich wildlife and breathtaking scenery. The local pub that serves food all day and community shop for all your essentials are both 300 yards away. Enjoy a traditional bucket and spade day at the seaside on the gloriously golden sands at Sea Palling (8 miles) or Winterton-on-Sea (16 miles), where you might also catch a glimpse of the seals bobbing along the tide. Soak up the medieval atmosphere of the city of Norwich, 13 miles away, with its historic cathedral and plethora of independent boutiques.
